Abstract:The rate of world GDP is changing periodically. A discrete dynamic model (DDM) describes this process. The model is based on the assumption that the global economy has certain "inertia". This allows us to describe the rate of change of global GDP in the subsequent year as a function of its change in the preceding year. This function can be approximated by using a finite number of terms of its Taylor series. A methodologically more rigorous approach is proposed for approximating the rate of world GDP change on non-overlapping time intervals. Radii of convergence were determined for approximating polynomials for these time ranges. Studies have shown the dependence of the shape of the radius of convergence from the nature of the convergence. DDM has a practical significance because it allows identifying the change in a character of economic dynamics without prior assumptions about the factors driving this trend. It is worth noting that these categories of profit are interconnected, since one category follows from another, depending on the items of income and expense inherent in a particular type of profit. The analysis of a number of indicators, characterizing the financial activities of organizations of the oil and gas complex was carried out, the totality of oil producing organizations based on the SPARK database was selected, and a comparative analysis of the financial activities of two organizations of the oil and gas complex was carried out.Conclusion. The oil and gas industry is a key sector of the economy, making a significant contribution to the social and economic development of our country. Revenues from the activities of the oil and gas complex make a significant contribution to the country’s GDP and are a significant component of the budget. In this paper, an analysis of a number of financial and economic indicators, characterizing the activities of organizations of the oil and gas complex was carried out. The financial condition of the organization is largely determined by its financial results – profit or loss. The main indicators of the financial results of the organization are profit and profitability, which depend on many internal and external factors. Including, industry features have a great influence. A set of oil-producing organizations based on the SPARK database was selected in the work. By the example of organizations JSC “IDELOIL” and Ltd “NEDRA-K”, a comparative analysis of financial and economic indicators was carried out, directions for increasing gross profit and gross margin indicators were proposed and justified in order to reduce costs and increase revenues. As a result, it was concluded that the oil industry in Russia depends on political and economic factors, in this regard, it is necessary to regularly analyze the activities of organizations in this industry to identify miscalculations, low-active functioning systems, etc., with the purpose of more efficient functioning of the industry.
The article is devoted to some aspects of ensuring economic security of economic entities in modern conditions.
Subject. This article covers VTB's operations with securities and their effect on bank's financial sustainability and growth in assets. The main focus of the study was put on secondary public offering in 2013 and the issue of perpetual bonds in 2012 by VTB. Objectives. We assess the dynamics of VTB's balance sheet items as a result of secondary public offering. We analyze consequences of perpetual bonds issued in terms of their lucrativeness for the issuer and investors. The study identifies factors affecting the market value and liquidity of VTB's perpetual bonds on the MOEX. Methods. The research methods are based on the factor analysis of VTB’s balance sheet items. Statistical, graphical and economic analyses are also used in the study. Results. Secondary public offering caused a significant growth of the bank's assets. The issue of perpetual bonds allows increasing tier 1 capital of VTB. Conclusions and Relevance. Based on the results, recommendations were presented for VTB bank concerning the equity and debt securities. We determined negative consequences that might happen after another issue of bonds, which can influence an amount of the State's share in VTB. We especially consider the future issue of VTB's bonds in terms of coupon payments, which may help reduce expenditures on the servicing of debt bonds issued.
