The evolutionary process of social networking is a transition from one state to another through chaos that features high system sensitivity to external disturbances. Thus, a system may be in a certain stable state called an attractor adversely affected by a potential threat to social networking actors. So let us have synergetic control conceptualized here in terms of social network actors' interactions control to ensure national information security. The design of a synergetic system to control self-organizing virtual communities enables a chaos-control transition thus achieving the predicted result of their actors' interactions. There are some models introduced.
The article describes a decision support system based on fuzzy inference aimed to automate the procedure of choosing a model of formalizing the interaction between actors in virtual communities of social networking services and synergistic management of such processes. The developed system aims to increase the effectiveness of counteracting threats to information security of the state in social networking services. The mathematical apparatus of the fuzzy set theory and the Mamdani algorithm are the basis for the functioning of the decision support system. The usage of the developed fuzzy inference system will remove the ambiguity of information security expertise in the course of choosing approaches to formalization and the model of synergistic management of actors’ interaction in the conditions of incomplete information and ambiguous assessment of the state information security threat in social networking services.
Social networking services are one of the most popular mass media and are used as an effective tool for information confrontation due to their functional characteristics. Existing models of information confrontation take into account the redistribution between conflict parties of only one kind of resource, although in the social networking services there is a need to consider additional factors that determine the effectiveness of virtual communities' opposition. A conceptual model of information confrontation of virtual communities in social networking services has been developed, and it includes three-layer dynamics of the number of actors, growth of information resources of virtual communities and dynamics of spending resources for the confrontation conduct. The model also takes into account the peculiarities of the antagonistic conflict of virtual communities' actors through the choice of a differential equation that corresponds to the type of its dynamics. The offered conceptual model formalizes the behavior of virtual communities' actors in the conditions of antagonistic conflict. At the same time, it allows to investigate the peculiarities of using different strategies to carry out the information fight of virtual communities in social networking services, to choose optimal strategies, to predict the development of conflicts in the information space and to develop effective measures to counter threats to the state's information security.
Today social networking services are one of the most popular virtual platforms for implementing social communication in the information space. In this case, social networking services provide the basic needs of actors in communication, belonging to virtual communities, new knowledge, self-realization, security, etc. At the same time, social networking services can be used by the world leading countries to achieve one-sided advantages in the national information space and influence on social and political processes in the state, public opinion, social exacerbation, interethnic and interreligious conflicts, etc. That’s why providing the state’s information security in social networking services is one of the most acute problems in Ukraine and around the world. It is established that the most promising direction of counteracting the threats to state information security in social networking services and managing the dynamics of interaction between the actors is the use of the concept of synergetic management. However, currently there are no practical recommendations for the implementation of synergistic management with the use of social control for self-organization in social networking services. The article systematizes the basic components of social control in social networking services. It is established that they are divided into social norms and social sanctions. The structure of each component of social control in social networking services and the peculiarities of their implementation are revealed. The synergetic model of interaction between the actors in social networking services is synthesized, which will ensure the formation of a stable virtual community. Such a virtual community is capable of counteracting the threats to the state’s information security in the information space of services through the implementation of social control over the members of the virtual community and the dissemination of a strategic narrative to counteract the content of destructive nature. The experimental research of the proposed model of synergetic control for a hidden artificially controlled transition of the virtual community of actors in social networking services to the state of state information security is performed. It is proved that the effectiveness of such a management compared to the unmanaged processes of the formation of stable virtual communities increases 3.3 times and allows to attract a greater number of actors of social networking services.
In modern conditions, social networking services have become the users’ leading channel of communication, which are called actors. Therefore, social networking services are used by intruders to gain benefits in the information space of virtual communities for further influence on political and social processes in the state. In the article the phenomenological model of information operation in social networking services is developed. The model allows to take into account the processes of development of social networking services through the formation of new relationships between actors and the formation of virtual communities. At the same time, behind the model are the processes of degradation of social networking services that are associated with the dissipation of content. The developed model is used for experimental research of real information operation in social networking services. The obtained results will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of counteracting the threats to information security of the state in social networking services by the relevant departments.
