Освещена актуальность определения ветровых нагрузок на свободно развевающиеся флаги в связи с возникшей тенденцией к соревновательному строительству сверхвысоких флагштоков, снабженных флагами огромной площади. Приведены основные научные работы, в которых предпринимались попытки исследовать сложное явление обтекания потоком развевающегося флага. Проведено сопоставление ветровых нагрузок на флаги, определенных по различной нормативно-технической литературе. В результате сопоставительного анализа выявлены суще ственные различия в ветровых нагрузках, определенных по различным источникам. Даны рекомендации проектировщикам.
Оценка возможности возникновения аэродинамической неустойчивости играет одну из важных ролей при проектировании различных конструкций. В статье представлен обзор аналитических (в том числе полуаналитических и полуэмпирических) моделей флаттера и методов оценки предела флаттера (критической скорости флаттера), которые легли в основу инженерного анализа флаттерной неустойчивости конструкций. Аналитические модели в том или ином виде являются частью процедуры анализа флаттера экспериментальными и численными методами. В дополнение к обзору аналитических и полуэмпирических методов оценки флаттерной неустойчивости представлен краткий анализ нормативных документов (как отечественных, так и зарубежных). Анализ нормативной базы показал, что во всех рассмотренных нормативных документах флаттер признается опасным и недопустимым аэроупругим явлением. Однако никакой методики анализа этого явления не предлагается, а даются только рекомендации по оценке возможности возникновения флаттера на основе характеристик конструкций. Для конструкций, подверженных флаттеру, дается рекомендация по проведению дополнительных исследований этого явления на основе испытаний в аэродинамических трубах или с помощью специалиста в данной области. Представленный в статье обзор аналитических и полуэмпирических моделей флаттера и методов оценки предела флаттера указывает на возможность и необходимость актуализации отечественных норм в части оценки аэроупругой неустойчивости типа флаттер.
