The article examines the status and trends of Russian science intensive and high technology complex development after the implementation of anti crisis measures, and provides a comparative assess ment of the sector condition with the general situation in Russian economy. It is suggested that the key chal lenges of modernization should be the reintegration of the institutional structure of the national economy reproduction and reindustrialization of country. In addition the paper put forward the hypothesis that forma tion of high technology industries, national innovation systems, and modernization processes are common in nature and based on the emergence and development of capital new forms.
The article describes an interindustry interaction model and the modeling of the impact of hightechnology exports on GDP growth in the short run (2007)(2008)(2009)(2010)(2011)(2012)(2013)(2014)(2015). It considers both the "net" impact of the hightechnology export of GDP growth and the impact adjusted for import substitution processes.
