Большой толчок к стремительному развитию российской виноградо-винодельческой отрасли в последние годы дала нацеленность на импортозамещение и винный туризм, поэтому требуется расширение сортимента возделываемых сортов винограда аборигенными и сортами местной селекции. Низкие температуры зимнего периода являются главным ограничивающим фактором для зон российского виноградарства. Представлено описание новых сортов винограда Курчанский, Владимир и Дмитрий селекции Северо-Кавказского зонального НИИ садоводства и виноградарства. Сорта изучали в условиях Центральной зоны Краснодарского края. Отличаясь повышенной адаптивностью к морозу (до –27 °C) и болезням, сорта дают урожай, пригодный для качественного виноделия, и могут возделываться без укрывки кустов на зиму, в том числе сорт Дмитрий — в корнесобственной культуре. Красные столовые вина из урожая описываемых сортов характеризуются высокими показателями качества и биологической ценности. По суммарному накоплению фенольных веществ выделяется сорт Владимир (3603 мг/дм3, что сравнимо с содержанием фенольных веществ в виноматериалах из сорта Саперави). Максимальное накопление антоцианов (свыше 1000 мг/дм3) выявлено в образцах виноматериалов Курчанский и Дмитрий. В результате купажирования виноматериалов представленных сортов были получены столовые вина «Фермерская удача» и «Фермерская Надежда», которые на XIV агропромышленной выставке «Золотая осень» удостоены золотых медалей. По изучаемым физико-химическим показателям все опытные виноматериалы соответствовали требованиям нормативной документации.
