У статі наведено результати досліджень сезонних змін молочної продуктивності та хімічного складу молока корів української чорно-рябої молочної породи з різними генотипами капа-казеїну (CSN3). У цілому навесні за рівнем надоїв тварини з генотипом АА перевершували особин із генотипом АВ на 141,4 кг або 6,4 % (р<0,05), влітку – на 57,7 кг або 5,1 % і восени – на 12,2 кг або 1,3 %, тоді як взимку вони поступалися останнім – на 6,9 кг або 0,4 %. У свою чергу збільшення різниці щодо менш продуктивних (генотип ВВ) тварин на користь перших відбувалося на вищому рівні реалізації продуктивного потенціалу: взимку – на 159,8 кг або 9,3 %, навесні – на 164,9 кг або 7,6 % (р<0,05), влітку – на 55,1 кг або 4,9 %, восени – на 43,1 кг або 4,8 %. Незважаючи на відставання за надоями, найбільші масові частки жиру в усі сезони року були властиві молоку корів із генотипом ВВ, за винятком зимового, для якого характерний менший їх рівень. Це мало місце як щодо тварин із генотипом АА, так і АВ. Найменшою (0,19 і 0,09 %) амплітудою сезонних коливань кількісного вмісту масової частки жиру характеризувалося весняне молоко. Потім влітку вона поступово відновлювалася відповідно на 0,30 % (р<0,05) і 0,05 %, надалі восени набувала найбільш суттєвих значень, зростаючи відповідно на 0,36 % (р<0,05) і 0,14 %. Разом із цим, розбіжності за цією ознакою між піддослідними групами взимку виявилися мінімальними й знаходились відповідно на рівні 0,05 і 0,04 %. Параметри оцінки корів із генотипом ВВ за вмістом масової частки білка позначились на збільшенні їх значень щодо представниць із генотипами АА і АВ. Наразі, їх підвищення щодо останніх двох генотипів у зимовий сезон року становило відповідно на 0,40 і 0,30 %, весняний – на 0,38 % (р<0,01) і 0,32 % (р<0,05), літній – на 0,41 (р<0,05) і 0,33 % і осінній – на 0,50 (р<0,001) і 0,40 % (р<0,05).
