Мета. Вивчення ефективності (Е) очищення розчинів від органічних барвників (БР) залежно від типу БР, складу Cu-Zn-феритного композиту (ФК) та повторності його використання, створення математичної моделі процесу очищення. Методи. Фотокаталітичні та сорбційні властивості ФК вивчали спектрофотометрично при очищенні розчинів від метилвіолету МВ, метиленового синього МС та Конго червоного КЧ. Математична модель процесу очищення створена за допомогою пакету прикладних програм MATLAB (підсистема Toolbox). Результати. Показано дотримання першого порядку реакції у всьому часовому інтервалі процесу очищення за зміни механізму з переважаючого фотокаталізу на адсорбцію протягом 3‒5 год. Питома активність ФК висока при очищенні від усіх БР за масового співвідношення «ФК : БР» (n) ≥ 500. Аніонний характер КЧ знижує Е очистки у порівнянні з МВ і МС. Повторне використання ФК із зниженою Е доцільно за тривалого контакту ФК із забарвленими розчинами у відстійниках. Проведено оптимізацію сумарних процесів очищення шляхом виведення рівнянь регресії третього порядку «Е ‒ n ‒ час» з розширеною областю оптимальних значень параметрів процесу. Висновки. Ефективність очищення та активність окремих ФК змінюються залежно від типу БР та складу фериту. ФК ефективніші для очищення розчинів від МВ та МС, ніж від КЧ. Оптимальне n варіює в межах 700‒1370. Методом найменших квадратів виведено рівняння регресії, що дозволяють оптимізувати проведення процесу з активності ФК, ефективності та часу процесу.
