This article outlines the problem of the visual ecology of the urban environment, which is becoming increasingly relevant in connection with global changes relating to the appearance of modern cities. The study revealed that the environment of a modern big city is becoming more aggressive for a person and his perception, which entails a negative impact on his psycho-emotional state. Natural forms that have the opposite effect oppose aggressive urban environments. A possible solution to this problem is the use of the bionic method of morphogenesis. This method involves the interpretation of natural motifs in the shaping of objects of design, architecture, etc. In the framework of this study, the proposed solution to the problem is demonstrated by the example of creating the concept of a recreation zone.
