Введение. Мотивация спортивной деятельности, как правило, рассматривается в педагогических работах, в то время как ее психологические основания остаются недостаточно изученными. В представленном исследовании выявлены и проанализированы связи между мотивацией детей к занятию спортивной гимнастикой, их социометрическим статусом, уровнем тревожности и особенностями родительского отношения в семье. Методы. В исследовании участвовали 95 детей старшего дошкольного и младшего школьного возраста, занимающихся спортивной гимнастикой более года. С целью выявления психологических и социально-психологических особенностей мотивации детей использовались: тест-опросник родительского отношения (А. Я. Варга, В. В. Столин), тест тревожности «Выбери нужное лицо» (Р. Тэммл, М. Дорки, В. Амен), шкала явной тревожности CMAS (адаптация А. М. Прихожан), методика оценки уровня спортивной мотивации обучающихся (адаптация методики Н. Г. Лускановой, сделанная О. Н. Степановой и А. Н. Волковой), социометрия, статистическая обработка данных. Результаты. Выявлены статистические значимые различия показателей, характеризующих детей с разным уровнем мотивации. Доказано, что наиболее мотивированные к учебной спортивной деятельности дети имеют, в зависимости от типа семейного воспитания, средний или высокий уровни тревожности и занимают высокие или низкие позиции в интрагрупповой структуре спортивной ученической группы. Родительское отношение к этим детям характеризуется высоким уровнем принятия и кооперации, что выражается в позитивном внимании к интересам ребенка, уважении, поощрении самостоятельности и инициативы. Обсуждение результатов. Результаты исследования позволяют внести вклад в научные представления о психологических условиях оптимизации мотивации детей к спортивным занятиям. Полученные результаты могут использоваться в программах повышения психологической компетентности спортивных тренеров и открывают перспективы дальнейшего исследования социально-психологических факторов мотивации спортивной деятельности детей.
