Безпроводові мережі передачі даних стали одним із головних напрямків розвитку мережної індустрії завдяки простоті реалізації та обслуговування. Певною складністю є об’єктивна обмеженістю частотного ресурсу. У зв’язку з цим існує проблема забезпечення максимально доступної спектральної ефективності сигналів, які переносять інформацію у каналах обміну. Показано, що при розкладанні довільного сигналу у ряд Фур'є відновлення сигналу можна достатньо успішно забезпечити шляхом застосування методу Фейєра підсумовування середніх арифметичних частинних сум ряду. У роботі розглядається задача дослідження спектральної ефективності стосовно OFDM-сигналів зі згладжуванням. У якості функцій згладжування використовуються функції, що випливають з методу Фейєра підсумовування середніх арифметичних. Як відомо, при застосування теореми Фейєра до підсумовування рядів Фур'є гарантується рівномірна (монотонна) збіжність частинних сум ряду до функції, яка розкладається. У роботі показано, що метод не тільки є корисним для відновлення сигналів по обмеженому числу членів ряду, але ядро Фейєра грає роль інструменту забезпечення спектральної ефективності сигналів. Розрахунковим шляхом доведено, що завдяки згладжуванню з використанням ядра Фейєра форма сигналу наближається до гаусовської, яка є найбільш прийнятною для оптимального розподілу енергії сигналу за часом та частотою. У подальшому планується, базуючись на загальній теорії сигналів, зокрема, функцій невизначеності, провести окремі дослідження та порівняльний аналіз сигналів, найбільш придатних для застосування у безпроводових мережах
