The article considers issues related to the effect of plasma treatment on the properties of jute fabrics and their component fibers. The modes of plasma treatment of jute fabrics were selected. The surface changes of jute fibers were studied by using scanning electron atomic force microscopy. According to the results of the experiments, an increase in the strength characteristics of jute fabrics treated with radio-frequency capacitive discharge was revealed, and the roughness of the surface of jute fibers was estimated.
The article considers changes in the properties of Rusar-S brand aramid fiber due to the treatment of low-pressure plasma of radiofrequency capacitive discharge. After modification, there was recorded the growth of hydrophilicity in the environment of inert and oxidizing gases. The paper discusses the results of IR spectroscopy of Rusar-S aramid fiber before and after plasma modification. An obtained data of research can explain the influencing mechanisms of RFC discharge plasma of a low-pressure on the properties of aramid fiber.
Fundamental and applied problems of materials creation and phases of technologies for textile industry 19In the work, a study of typical building heat insulation materials from plant fibers was carried out, it was revealed that these heaters along with advantages have significant drawbacks: increased combustibility and friability. The possibility of improving some operational parameters by applying modifying compositions, such as fire-protective impregnations and adhesive solutions, has been studied. Experimental studies of the influence of the selected types of modifying compositions on the properties of jute and linen fibers insulations have been carried out. Impregnations of various groups of fire-resistant efficiency were selected for the study. It was revealed that the most optimal fire-protective impregnation for the selected range of materials is "MC" flame retardant, and as an adhesive impregnation it is possible to use an aqueous polyvinyl acetate (PVA) solution. It was found that the treatment of heater insulations based on plant fibers with an aqueous solution of polyvinyl acetate (PVA) glue at a concentration of 30% is able to increase its operational properties. The conclusions of the research are presented.
The activity of modern engineer requires the ability to work in a multi-discipline team and the ability to hand over clearly the professional information to the other team members who are specialists from another field. Therefore, according to the researches graduates from engineering universities lack skills of business communication and team work interaction. That is why the organization of work of future engineers in small groups fulfilling different team roles and the use of moderation methods for the achievement of the effective team cooperation will enable the achievement of the goal of necessary cooperation skills development.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
