Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) methods can be effectively used in medicine, provided that parameters of NMR signal of body tissues are known [1]. Blood proton relaxation time (T1) is one of the most important parameters, because its value in different tissues provides image contrast of NMR-tomograms and allows pathological lesions to be distinguished from normal tissues. Blood vessels are abundant in almost all organs and tissues, so that study of blood relaxation parameters is where T10 is the solvent relaxation time, K is coefficient.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
