Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov, Saratov, e-mail: tichomirova_ei@mail.ruThe present article is devoted to the study of the adsorption of organic compounds (on the example of o-fenylenediamine) on montmorillonites with various modifications. As adsorbents, unmodified bentonite is considered; bentonite modified with carbon nanotubes and the bentonite modified with glycerol and carbon nanotubes. The values of the equilibrium concentration Cp of the test substance in the solution at different values of its initial concentration were obtained experimentally. Sorption isotherms of C = f (D) o-fenylenediamine are constructed in different variants of modified bentonite under static conditions. The values of the static exchange capacity for the adsorption of organic substances on the investigated sorbents (T = 20 °C) are established. The values of the coefficient of interphase distribution of kd of o-fenylenediamine between the phase of the sorbent and the aqueous phase, as well as the degree of adsorption extraction of the pollutant on the sorbents studied, are found. The results of the investigations made it possible to establish the performance characteristics of the sorbents studied with respect to o-fenylenediamineand mechanism of adsorption.
