Η ανοδική τάση του κλάδου της ζαχαροπλαστικής έχει δημιουργήσει την ανάγκη της εξειδίκευσης του προσωπικού. Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας ήταν η μελέτη της εκπαίδευσης τεχνικών ζαχαροπλαστείου με τη χρήση των νέων τεχνολογιών και η ανάδειξη των πλεονεκτημάτων της εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευσης. Για την υλοποίηση της εκπαίδευσης χρησιμοποιήθηκαν το ηλεκτρονικό ταχυδρομείο μέσω του οποίου αποστέλλονταν το εκπαιδευτικό υλικό και τηλεδιασκέψεις με τις οποίες επιλύονταν οι απορίες των εκπαιδευόμενων. Η ποιοτική έρευνα που χρησιμοποιήθηκε για την αποτύπωση της εμπειρίας των εκπαιδευομένων ανέδειξε τη βελτίωση των γνώσεων των εργαζομένων σε θέματα ποιότητας και διασφάλισης ποιότητας των παραγομένων προϊόντων καθώς και στη δημιουργία καινοτόμων προϊόντων.

Η ποιοτική έρευνα που χρησιμοποιήθηκε για την αποτύπωση της εμπειρίας των εκπαιδευομένων ανέδειξε τη βελτίωση των γνώσεων των εργαζομένων σε θέματα ποιότητας και διασφάλισης ποιότητας των παραγομένων προϊόντων καθώς και στη δημιουργία καινοτόμων προϊόντων.
