Είναι μια προσπάθεια ανάλυσης των καταστάσεων που δημιουργήθηκαν μετά τη λήξη του Β΄Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου, την ανάγκη δικονομικής αντιμετώπισης των αξιωματούχων του γερμανικού ναζιστικού κόμματος και την αποκρυστάλλωση αυτής της ανάγκης σε ένα διεθνές Δικαστήριο με συγκεκριμένη νομική μορφή. Εντός της διατριβής περιγράφονται αρχικώς οι κυριότερες διεθνείς Συνθήκες, με αποκορύφωμα τη Συμφωνία του Λονδίνου, οι οποίες οδήγησαν στη Δίκη της Νυρεμβέργης και οι διαρκώς μεταβαλλόμενες απόψεις των νικητριών δυνάμεων σχετικά με το μέλλον της μεταπολεμικής Γερμανίας. Έπειτα αναλύονται όλα τα ενδοδικαστικά τεκταινόμενα, εστιάζοντας στη σύγκρουση τόσων διαφορετικών νομικών πολιτισμών, εθιμικών και πρακτικών εντός μιας δικαστικής αίθουσας, για πρώτη φορά στα δικαστικά χρονικά. Η σύγκρουση αυτή δεν παρουσιάζεται, όπως θα ήταν λογικό, μόνο μεταξύ των κατηγορουμένων και της κατηγορούσας αρχής αλλά και μεταξύ προσώπων - εκπροσώπων του ιδίου νομικού συστήματος. Η διατριβή ολοκληρώνεται καταγράφοντας τις διεργασίες που τελέσθηκαν προκειμένου να δημοσιευθεί η ετυμηγορία προς τα κατηγορούμενα φυσικά πρόσωπα, τις τελικές ποινές, καθώς και τα συμπεράσματα που προέκυψαν από όλη αυτήν τη διαδικασία. Δεν εστιάζουμε στη νομική υπόσταση της δίκης (καταγράφονται οι σχετικοί προβληματισμοί) αλλά στις αλλαγές που αυτή επέφερε σε διάφορους τομείς της διπλωματίας, του διεθνούς δικαίου, του διεθνούς ποινικού δικαίου, στη δημιουργία διεθνών αποτρεπτικών φορέων και Οργανισμών και άλλων πολλών δημιουργημάτων που προέκυψαν από την ανάγκη κατοχύρωσης ενός διεθνούς αποτρεπτικού πυρήνα, για την αντιμετώπιση παρόμοιων περιστατικών στο μέλλον.
