Ngunut merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Ponorogo yang mayoritas penduduknya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani. Sawah di desa Ngunut diairi menggunakan air tanah yang diambil dengan pompa air listrik. Proses pengairan sawah dilakukan selama beberapa jam, sehingga pompa air ditinggalkan menyala di saat para petani mengerjakan aktifitas lain. Seringkali terjadi peristiwa dimana petani lupa mematikan pompa airnya, sehingga terjadi pemborosan daya listrik dan penggunaan air tanah. Pada saat musim kering, bisa saja terjadi penurunan tinggi permukaan air tanah sampai di bawah ujung pipa penarik yang berpotensi mengakibatkan rusaknya pompa air. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut di atas, kami berupaya menerapkan alat pengontrol pompa air listrik yang mudah digunakan oleh petani di desa Ngunut sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengairan sawah mereka. Dengan penggunaan alat tersebut, potensi kerugian petani akibat biaya listrik berlebih dan kerusakan pompa air dapat dicegah. Pemborosan penggunaan air tanah juga dapat dihindari.
The dissemination of fake information through social media has several harmful effects on the social life of a nation. Indonesia has been afflicted by the dissemination of erroneous information regarding the negative health consequences of vaccination, resulting in widespread unwillingness to undergo immunization. Therefore, it is necessary to combat such misleading information. We developed a web application using machine learning technologies to identify bogus information flowing on Indonesian Twitter. A Passive-Aggressive Classifier and n-gram tokenization are used to handle data. The application test results indicate that the detection accuracy, precision, and recall for 1-3 grams of tokenization are higher than 90%. In addition, the black box approach yields reliable findings for all application functionalities. Povzetek: Opisana je metoda strojnega učenja za zaznavanje lažnih novic za Indonezijo za Twitter.
We have built an electronic instrument of water pump control system for rice field irrigation. This instrument is developed from our previous prototype with some additional features. This instrument is equipped with the keypad, GSM modem, water flow sensor, and relay as the input sources. An Arduino Mega 2560 is used as the main controller of the system. The working time of the water pump can be set using the keypad or short message service, which is received by GSM modem in the instrument. If there is no water flowing through the water pump as detected by the water flow sensor, the instrument will automatically shut down the water pump, and send the notification message to the user’s handphone. When the abnormal condition is detected on the water pump, the relay will disconnect the electricity to avoid the severe damage of the water pump. This instrument has been installed and used by the farmer in Desa Ngunut, Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency, with support from DRPM Kemenristekdikti through Program Kemitraan Masyarakat.
Fake information, better known as hoaxes, is often found on social media. Currently, social media is not only used to make friends or socialize with friends online, but some use it to spread hate speech and false information. Hoaxes are very dangerous in social life, especially in countries with large populations and ethnically diverse cultures, such as Indonesia. Although there have been many studies on detecting false information, the accuracy and efficiency still need to be improved. To help prevent the spread of these hoaxes, we built a model to identify false information in Indonesian using an ensemble classifier that combines the n-gram method, term frequency-inverse document frequency, and passive-aggressive classifier method. The evaluation process was carried out using 5000 samples from Twitter social media accounts in this study. The testing process is carried out using four schemes by dividing the dataset into training and test data based on the ratios of 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, and 60:40. The inspection results show that our software can accurately detect hoaxes at 91.8%. We also found an increase in the accuracy and precision of hoax detection testing using the proposed method compared to several previous studies. The results show that our proposed method can be developed and used in detecting hoaxes in Indonesian on various social media platforms.
Profil kesuburan tanah merupakan hal yang penting dalam pertanian karena merupakan media utama dalam bercocok tanam. Penggunaan pupuk kimia dan pestisida secara terus menerus dan berlebihan akan dapat menimbulkan perubahan sifat fisika dan kimia tanah yang pada akhirnya akan dapat menyebabkan tanah menjadi kritis. Hal ini akan berpengaruh pada produktivitas hasil panen para petani. Salah satu upaya untuk mengetahui tingkat kesuburan tanah adalah melalui diagnosa unsur hara dalam tanah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat pemodelan sistem optimalisasi deteksi kadar unsur hara dalam tanah menggunakan fuzzy. Melalui simulasi ini akan didapatkan data kadar unsur hara tanah dengan parameter unsur hara N (Nitrogen), P (Fosfor) , K (Kalium) menggunakan labview. Berdasarkan parameter tersebut kemudian dihasilkan berapa nilai kadar unsur hara NPK dalam tanah apakah rendah, sedang atau tinggi.
