This study aims at finding out the effectiveness of traditional Lore games on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in kindergarten. This research used a quantitative approach implemented in the form of the quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design. The population of this study is all early childhood students of group B in South Pariaman District, Pariaman City. Sample withdrawal technique using simple random sampling. Data collection techniques use a test of the ability to recognize the concept of numbers that self-designed, refer to aspects and indicators. Hypothetical testing using data analysis techniques is a paired t-test by looking at each difference from the average score comparison. The result shows that traditional Lore games are effective in developing the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in early childhood. Therefore, the use of traditional games can be a strategy for teachers to teach math, particularly about the concept of numbers.
Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi menimbulkan kekhwatiran dalam pembentukan karakter anak usia dini yang lahir sebagai generasi “digital native”. Hal tersebut menjadi tantangan para orang tua dan guru dalam membimbing kepribadian anak yang beradab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengambarkan upaya yang dilakukan oleh lembaga TK Islam Assakinah dalam penguatan karakter Islam moderat di tengah ancaman kondisi intoleransi yang banyak berkembang di kalangan umat beragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik dengan wawancara bersama kepala sekolah, guru dan orang tua siswa selama proses pembelajaran serta dilengkapi dokumen pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan nilai-nilai karakter yang mendukung penanaman moderasi beragama sejak dini dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai upaya seperti: penyeleksian awal (screening) calon guru, pemilihan bahan ajar, penanaman sikap moderat dalam pembelajaran, mengadakan parenting education. Berbagai upaya tersebut dapat mewujudkan generasi yang memiliki karakter islam moderat sejak dini dan membawa dampak positif saat anak berada pada tingkat pendidikan yang lebih lanjut
This study aims to describe the form of religious culture applied in SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung and how the principal in implementing religious culture. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. Informant research as many as 8 people. Data collection tools are researchers as key instruments and supporting instruments are interview guides, observation guides, field notes, and hp. Data collection techniques are participatory observation, in-depth interview and documentation study. Data analysis technique using Spradley (1980) model is doing domain analysis, carrying out taxonomic analysis, doing component analysis and doing theme analysis. Techniques of testing the validity of data using triangulation of data and methods. The results showed that starting planning, organizing, implementing and supervising religious programs such as Zuhr prayers in congregation, zikir and prayer, tadarrus al-qur'an, culture 5S, and infak and gebu program applied in SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung, head the school always involves all the citizens of the school ranging from teachers, education personnel, school committees, and security guards. It is implemented by the school principal and the whole school community through chanting, habituation, giving advice (motivation), and the commemoration of Islamic day (PHBI). So that these religious activities can run well in SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung.
Early reading is an important primary capital that students have in conducting their academic knowledge, but there are still many elementary school students who have not mastered the skills. Using the right reading method can support children's skills in reading. The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of the Multisensory method on the early reading skills in 6-7 years old children of the State Elementary School 10 Ganting Bigau and the State Elementary School 19 Koto Tuo, the Sulit Air Village, District X Koto diatas, the Regency of Solok. Withdrawal of samples with simple random sampling technique. Data collection is conducted by adapting instruments from ERSI (The Early Reading Screening Instrument). The data analysis technique is an independent T-test that is to see a comparison of differences in the average score. The results showed that the Multisensory method was effective in developing early reading skills in Grade 1 students at elementary school. The use of multisensory reading methods can be an alternative to the choice of reading by the teacher in improving the student's initial reading.
