We proposed a broadband e‐shaped circularly polarized (CP) patch antenna with single‐point feed, and the feed point is located at the center of the antenna. The structure of this new antenna includes a ground plate and an e‐shaped patch placed on a substrate. The measured impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is approximately 17.89% (3.47–4.15 GHz), and the measured 3‐dB axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW) is about 9.47% (3.63–3.99 GHz). The antenna can achieve the gain of 8.4 to 8.7 dBi within the ARBW. And at the center frequency (3.8 GHz), right‐hand CP to left‐hand CP isolation of the antenna can reach −33 dB.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
