Photocatalysis for
organic synthesis has experienced an exponential
growth in the past 10 years. However, the variety of experimental
procedures that have been reported to perform photon-based catalyst
excitation has hampered the establishment of general protocols to
convert visible light into chemical energy. To address this issue,
we have designed an integrated photoreactor for enhanced photon capture
and catalyst excitation. Moreover, the evaluation of this new reactor
in eight photocatalytic transformations that are widely employed in
medicinal chemistry settings has confirmed significant performance
advantages of this optimized design while enabling a standardized
protocol.
RFID is a key technology that can be used to create the ubiquitous society. Owing to the characteristics of RFID systems, it may pose a serious threat to privacy and security. In order to solve these problems we proposed a novel mutual authentication protocol based on NTRU which can prevent tracing, eavesdropping, replay attack, and backward traceability effectively. This protocol uses less computing and memory resources, and it is very suitable to some low-cost RFID systems.
To optimize training procedure of IDS based on SVM and reduce time consumption, a SVM intrusion detection method based on GPU is proposed in the study. During the simulation experiments with KDD Cup 1999 data, GPU-based parallel computing model is adopted. Results of the simulation experiments demonstrate that time consumption in the training procedure of IDS is reduced, and performance of IDS is kept as usual.
The discretization is one of the most important steps for the application of Rough set theory. In this paper, we analyzed the shortcomings of the current relative works. Then we proposed a novel discretization algorithm based on information loss and gave its mathematical description. This algorithm used information loss as the measure so as to reduce the loss of the information entropy during discretizating. The algorithm was applied to different samples with the same attributes from KDDcup99 and intrusion detection systems. The experimental results show that this algorithm is sensitive to the samples only for parts of all attributes. But it dose not compromise the effect of intrusion detection and it improves the response performance of intrusion detection remarkably.
In order to satisfy the great demands of remote, real-time and flexible image acquisition in monitoring system, a solution to pan-tilt control system in remote image monitoring system is presented, which is based on ARM Cortex-M3 micro-controller and radio communication. And then, the hardware and software design is discussed in detail. Finally, the result shows that the pan-tilt control system provides many advantages such as remote and flexible control, high precision and low cost. So it has a huge market with big potential and wide prospect.
