Internet is used more and more widely and extensively among university students. In order to keep abreast of Internet use among medical students, provide basis for cultivating correct and reasonable Internet use habits of them, based on expert consultation and literature review, a “Questionnaire on University Students’ Internet Behavior” is designed by the author, method of randomly stratified cluster sampling is employed to conduct questionnaire survey on 380 students from three medical academies in Xi’an in China, and the investigation results are analyzed through statistics. According to the result, the reported rate of medical students’ Internet surfing is 92.3%; with respect to the frequencies of Internet behaviors, it differs among medical students; close attention is paid to sending & receiving e-mails, searching for information, chatting, browsing current affairs, et al; while little attention is paid to business negotiation, falling in love and sexual behavior; in the prevalence rate of Internet addiction disorder, boys’ is obviously higher than girls’. In all, Internet behaviors of medical students are characterized by high need-hierarchy, concentrated value orientation and various types. But Internet addiction disorder is also rather conspicuous. Therefore families, universities and the society shall attach importance to it and take measures if necessary
This paper focuses on the evaluation of quality of hospital websites in China. Leading general hospitals' websites in China are increasingly used by the public, but research on the quality of these websites in China is few and far between. In this article, we conducted a cross-sectional descriptive infodemiology study to assess the quality and to describe the characteristics of these websites. Using a pre-defined objective criterion based on content, function, design, and management & usage, two well-trained reviewers independently reviewed and analyzed websites of 23 nationally prominent leading general hospitals of China from April to June 2009. Hospital election is on the basis of the best Chinese hospitals published by official and non-official sources combined with experts' experiences and the research purpose. Results show that websites of most hospitals showed a good performance in website content, showed a normal performance in website function and design, but showed a bad performance in website management & usage. As the public increasingly looks to hospital websites for information and services, leading general hospitals in China need to keep up with increasingly high standards and demands of health-care consumers.
Reducing the amount of outdoor air entering a space has distinct advantages for ventilation system. However, it often brings the consequence of depressing indoor air quality (IAQ). For laboratories, on average, the laboratory IAQ conditions of low TVOCs and low particulates permitted the substantial reduction of minimum air change rates. With many modern laboratories operating with fewer fume hoods and more energy-efficient equipment and lighting, the labs minimum air exchange rate requirement is often the dominant energy use driver. Current codes or specifications for laboratories ventilation system are the most straight forward approaches. They do not optimize a laboratory's ventilation rate, or verify whether the intended levels of safety and comfort have been achieved by the labs design. Demand controlled ventilation (DCV) can also avoid over-ventilation by providing outdoor air rates based on actual occupancy rather than on design occupancy or full occupancy.
Abstract. In response to the need of woven fabric color-matching CAD software in small and medium enterprises, the article proposes the implementation of software system based on elementary weave structure. Using Microsoft visual C + +6.0 application development platform, through the blending ratio of the fabric, color mixing effect calculation to develop a system which can rapidly match colors to the warp and weft fabrics and organizational structure changes. The results indicate that the software is easy to program and small pieces of weave fabric samples have tested its viability. The software can fast, conveniently and accurately simulate the effect of color matching.
The liquefied natural gas (LNG) floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) is a kind of LNG receiving terminal forms on the sea. Nowadays, it is the most widely used sea receiving terminal form in the engineering project as it has many advantages. In this paper, the characteristics of the FSRU were discussed based on comparing of the several LNG offshore receiving terminal. The application and trend of the FSRU in China was analyzed. It was found that FSRU is recommended for LNG import in East and South coast of China.
