An efficient synthesis of ferrocene derivatives via rhodium(III)‐catalyzed direct C−H alkylation with diazo compounds under weakly coordinating group has been presented. This protocol provides an approach towards access to various ferrocene derivatives using carboxamides, giving alkylated ferrocenes in high yields (up to 87%).
An efficient and selective insertion of indoles into ethynylethylene carbonates has been achieved via CpXCo(III)‐catalyzed C–H functionalization. Compared with a Cp*Co(III) catalyst, the more sterically hindered CpXCo(III) improved the selectivity of rare 1,2‐insertion. This protocol provides an approach for synthesizing various vinylindoles in good yields with high regioselectivity.
A facile synthetic method of Alkenylarene derivatives via cobalt(III)-catalyzed C-H hydroarylation with terminal alkynes has been presented. This helpful protocol provides a way to use terminal alkynes to couple with aryl groups through 1, 2-insertion, with high yield and good selectivity to obtain the corresponding hydroarylation products.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
