The rate of carbon steel in SO2 Atmospheric Corrosion was modeled by grey model GM (1, 1). The accuracy and rationality of prediction model have been evaluated. The result indicated that the model had a better fitting accuracy. By comparing the calculated values with a predicted atmospheric corrosion rate of carbon steel after 264h, it showed that its relative error has been just 0.5619% which had higher forecast reliability.
The losses due to copper corrosion in H2S atmospheric corrosion have attracted much focus. It’s important to improve copper corrosion resistance that the corrosion law, corrosion mechanism and characteristics were studied in H2S environment. This paper reviewed the corrosion behavior of copper, analyzed the impact of environment factors and corrosion analysis tools. Through evaluating and improving corrosion by external factors, including improving corrosive environment, using coating protection and adding corrosion inhibitors, appropriate corrosion measures were taken to extend the life of the equipment.
Soil corrosion is the main reason of corrosion failure for substation grounding grids. To explore electrochemical evaluation method for soil corrosion of substation grounding grids would effectively ensure the safe operation of power grids. This paper discussed the main several kinds of soil corrosive electrochemical research methods and application. These methods played an important role on researching soil corrosion mechanism, soil corrosivity and corrosion behavior.
The influences of water content on corrosion behavior of grounding steel in semi-desertification soil were studied by polarization curve technique and weightlessness method. The tested specimen surface was characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS),and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The experiment results show that moisture has a great influence on corrosion of steel, the corrosion rate of 20 steel increased to a maximum at a value and then decreased. To anslysis the formation mechanism of soil corrosion products.
Abstract:In order to study influence of different factors on interlayer shear strength of fiber seal, an orthogonal experiment about four factors, respectively, test temperature, fiber content, asphalt content and gravel coverage, and three levels are developed with bevel shear test. The influence rules are evaluated by range analysis method. The result demonstrated that fiber content is the most correlative influencing factor. Thus provides a basis for the selection of material and performance of the fiber seal.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
