The accurate modeling and precise control are both challenging problems in the control of turntable. In this paper, the global optimization predictive controller based on Nonlinear Predictive Functional Control (NPFC) and Hammerstein model is proposed especially to the servo turntable, using the modified two-step method. One kind of PFC controller, which contains the matrix operation and state space equation, is used to the dynamic linear part of the Hammerstein system. Then a global optimization, is realized by the Genetic Algorithm (GA). In order to apply the above NPFC algorithm, a precise nonlinear Hammerstein model of servo turntable is built though the approach of RLS-PSO parameters identification. The simulation results show the effectiveness of modeling method and control algorithm against the servo system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
