ABSTRACT. ZnO,CdO,ZnO-CdO nano composite were prepared using electrochemical deposition the prepared samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction and the photoluminenscence spectroscopy (PL) to get the surface morphology leading to calculation of optical energy gap .the grain size determined by Scherrer's equation (22)(23)(24)(25)nm .through the calculation of Eg ,it was noticed a red shift behavior in ZnO manner due to addition of CdO content 1.INTRODUCTION:ZnO is a well-known II-VI semiconductor; it has a direct band gap in the ultraviolet range (3.37 eV) and a large exciton binding energy (60meV), which made it has a great application prospect due to its extrusive physical properties. 2.MATERIALS AND METHODElectro-deposition cell was used for preperation of ZnO,CdO,and their composite using pt cathode and Indium tin oxide (ITO) as anode .10mM of Zn(NO 3 ) 2 were added to 100 ml of Double deionized water Using the electro-deposition cell with 23 DC voltage for 30 min and the same process was done for preparation of CdO from cadmium nitrates and their 50ZnO:50CdO composite in the same molarity (10mM) .all the samples were sintered at 600 ºC for 6 hours.

In this research two groups of composites have been made : the first group has been sintered. For (1 hour) the second group has been sintered for ( 2 hours) and they were heat treated at 550 o C. Mechanical properties such as wear rate ,impact strength from and thermal conductivity for different compositions of SIC% and they were tested .from the results one can see that increasing the SiC% composition increased the thermal conductivity to 150 W/mK for samples sintered (2hours) and 150 W/mK for (1hour)sintering while impact strength have the value of 9.8 J and 9.5 J for samples sintered for 1 and 2 hours respectively, decreasing in wear rate value with the increase of SiC composition to 1*exp(-8) rather than o.5 *exp(-8) gm/cm for 1 and 2 hours of sintering respectively . Low cost Co-Precipitation  method was used for Preparation of novel nickel oxide (NiO) nano particle thin films with Simple, with two different PH values 6, 12 and its effect on structural and optical properties as an active optical filter. Experimental results of structural properties X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed that both Nickel oxide nanoparticles with (PH=6 and 12) have polycrystalline structure smaller average particle size about 8.5 nm for PH=6 in comparison with PH=12.
