Abstract.Recently, it is possible to register a relatively large increase of robotized workplaces also in the fields which not suppose the using of robots. Their implementation was limited due to complexity of work activities, including for example handling of various goods in large quantities in various combinations and often also in the limited space.
Abstract:The typical supply system conceptions, i.e. the concepts "Just-in-time" (JIT) and "Just-in-sequence" (JIS) are very important factors with regard to a fluent operation of the assembly lines. Therefore the contemporary intra plant transport systems are being replaced by a new kind of the transportation technology, namely by means of the trains of trucks. The trains of trucks are used in two possible operational modes: either with a driver or without driver (fully automated). The trucks of the logistic trains are also cheaper and they are able to carry a larger volume and mass of the material at once. There are reduced in this way not only the investment costs, but also the operational expenses.
Supplying of production lines is a complex logistic process, which is very difficult with regards to the requirements of its operation and scheduling. For this reason, this supplying process demands an increased attention. Application of a computer simulation is an efficient tool suitable for solution of the supplying logistic questions. In this paper the application possibilities of the software Tecnomatix Plant Simumlation specified for simulation of the supplying process by means of the system Milk Run will be presented.
The use and operation of crawler cranes in the Czech Republic is dependent on the availability of several major producers (Liebherr, Caterpillar, Volvo, Sennebogen, etc.) and Czech producers (Unex Uničov with its successor ND LOR Uničov, Tatra and others). The authors of this article explain the problems of operation, repairs and risks of failures in specific types of crawler cranes supplied by Liebherr during their operation in the steelmaking company Třinecké železárny, a.s. and Trilet Ground Services, a.s., the company specialized in renting machines that are used for foundations of buildings. The article proceeds from the evaluation of the operational data of both delivered and repaired machines and the data obtained from the repair company needed for the commissioning of the serviced machine, as well as the frequency of repairs during the specified hours of work within the course of operation of the machines. The processed data serves as a basis for the evaluation of risk of possible failures when using machines. Risks are evaluated using the FMEA method.
