The study aims to review the supervision of Labor Rights in the North Aceh District, particularly in the Krueng Keureutoe Dam Development Project, which is under the responsibility of the Office of Investment, Transmigration, and Manpower. This study involved 12 informants who were determined purposively. It was found that the Krueng Keureutoe Dam Development Project accommodated 630 workers using a budget of Rp. 1.7 trillion whose construction was carried out by PT. Hutama Karya, PT. Widya Karya, PT. Berantas, and PT. Perapen Jo. One of these companies, namely PT. Perapen Jo. The company has 138 workers and it has violated the law in fulfilling its labor rights responsibilities, namely the payment of salaries/wages below the Aceh UMP Rp. 2,000,000/month which should have been Rp. 2,717,750/month. Other problems found that the overtime working hours but without payment; no safety equipment such as helmets, shoes, work clothes; no religious holiday allowance (THR), less company recognition on leaving permit; and lacking supplies of medicines. However, this supervision has not been accomplished completely, because there are still numerous violations of legal rules in fulfilling the rights of workers in this project. This study suggests that the government should give a big concern on this case by conducting intensive and continuous monitoring regularly, giving verbal and written warnings, and providing sanctions if required.
Rumah Sakit sebagai salah satu fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dalam upaya mempercepat peningkatan derajat kesehatan masyarakat indonesia. Hal itu baik rumah sakit pemerintah maupun rumah sakit swasta. Sebab rumah sakit memiliki fungsi memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu dan terjangkau oleh masyarakat miskin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan kesehatan yang diberikan pihak Rumah Sakit Bunda Lhokseumawe sudah dilakukan secara maksimal sesuai prosedur yang berlaku. Kepuasan pasien terhadap pelayanan kesehatan yang diberikan pihak Rumah Sakit Bunda menimbulkan berbagai tanggapan. Ada yang memberikan tanggapan memuaskan sikap dokter yang ramah dan ada pula tanggapan pasien tidak memuaskan. Kurangnya kemampuan operator IT terhadap aplikasi komputer menjadi kendala yang sangat fatal sekali dalam pelayanan administrasi secara online. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini diperlukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada para operator IT secara maksimal dan berskala agar mereka dapat mengatasi berbagai kendala apabila terjadi kesalahan teknis pada saat pengisian data. Adapun hambatan lainnya dalam pelayanan kesehatan yang dilakukan pihak Rumah Sakit Bunda Lhokseumawe terhadap pasien adalah masih kurangnya dokter spesialis. Untuk mengatasi kekurangan tenaga dokter spesialis ini, maka pihak pimpinan harus melakukan penambahan tenaga dokter spesialis tersebut
PurposeA lack of research has reported how playful gamification is applied to adult learners as an idea of andragogical instruction. Thus, this study aims to identify how the concept of gamification was used for adult learners in an online class during the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on learning performance and motivation with the guidance of Knowles' andragogical principle.Design/methodology/approachThe study applied an explanatory sequential mixed method in collecting the data. Assessments' scores during the experimental research and questionnaires were used as the quantitative data. For the qualitative data, personal semi-structured interviews were employed.FindingsThe findings indicate that gamification raises student enthusiasm and interest and improves learning outcomes. Students who previously lacked attentiveness to the online class are now waiting for game quiz activities during the class meeting. Furthermore, the experimental groups reported statistically improved assessments compared to their counterparts. Indeed, some recommended other courses with whole activities of gamification and discussion rather than listening to talks.Originality/valueFor its implications, this study has enriched the literature on gamification implementation for adult learners. Regarding its originality, it has discussed an old issue of Knowles' andragogical principle from the novelty angle of gamification.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the management of the transfer of educational personnel under the provincial government along with its obstacles. The results revealed that 463 educators were teaching at 10 public SMA including 2 private SMA in Lhokseumawe city, Aceh, Indonesia. Besides, 325 educators teaching at 13 State Vocational High Schools including 3 private SMK, and 276 non-PNS educators who teach at 10 SMA and 13 SMK. The conclusion is that the management of the transfer of education personnel under the provincial government has not been realized effectively, because there are still various obstacles, including personnel administration processes such as teacher certification, teacher promotion and provision of teacher allowances as well as increasing teacher resources (HR) through an increasingly long bureaucratic process. Apart from that, non-civil servant educators who have had a less than satisfying fate, because there is no clarity and certainty about their future destiny. Efforts made are the socialization of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government and the management of BKN Number 1 of 2016 concerning the transfer of educators to the Provincial Government. Other efforts include improving personnel administration services (teacher certification, promotion and determination of educational personnel allowances for teachers) as well as taking policies to clarify the status and honorarium/salary of non-PNS teachers.
This study aims to determine the effect of giving katuk (Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr.) to increase breast milk production. The method used is a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest non-equivalent control design for breastfeeding mothers in Lubuk Batang District, determined by quota sampling technique for as many as 60 people. Data analysis was performed by independent t-test to see the difference in breast milk production changes in the intervention and control groups. The results showed that the increase in breast milk production in the intervention group was 262.96 ml, while in the control group, it was 126.46 ml. The vegetable katuk intervention increased breast milk production by 107.9% more than the control group with an -value of 0.000. In conclusion, giving katuk vegetables to breastfeeding mothers is proven to increase breast milk production. Keywords: Breast Milk Production, Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr.
