Quizizz is an online assessment tool as a fun multiplayer classroom activity that allows all students to practice together with their computer, Smartphone and I Pad. The main purpose of this research is evaluating the effectively interesting of students for Arabic class by implement of Quizizz as a game based learning in the Arabic classroom of Sultan Idris Education University Malaysia . The researchers tested 85 students for 3 sections during Arabic course titled “Arabic skill”. And created 20 questions relevant to the topics which are students already learned before by using Quizizz as games based learning for 20 minutes before finishing Arabic class once the students feel very tired, sleeping and bored for their Arabic class. And a set of questioners was distributed to those students regarding to their opinion of implementing Quizizz during the Arabic class. According to testing the implementing of Quizizz by researcher during the Arabic skill classroom, found that all students were very active to answer the questions which provided by researches, and more concentrated on the topic. And the results of the questioners shows that the students displayed the position attitude for quizizz as a online teaching and assessment tool during the Arabic class.
This research investigates the Arabic Teachers’ training and the effect of their work success, a case study of Sultan Idris Education University Malaysia (UPSI). The study will use mixed methods between quantitative which use questioners that will distribute among students at UPSI those who studying and was studied Arabic language as their medium.. This study found that the teachers’ training was highly impacted on their work success in the field according to the data collection of the study. Overall, The contents, materials, facilities and curriculum which are offered by the Arabic unit of UPSI was suitable for the teacher’s training, as well as , the students were giving full intentions to all language skills and another sub educational skills during their training and practical training. Clarity, it seems that majority of students were familiar with the teaching methods used in teaching and learning process based on the high percentage
In order to have a balanced judgment on language process views, the research tries to explain the mental process connection in the language learning process. The deep structure and surface structure theory designation indicated that the learning process consists of two procedures: deep structure process, which is the essential part in absorbing and captivating activities and surface structure which concentrates on symbols and codes in expressing the mind's activities. These procedures have been emphasized by modern and traditional scholars in highlighting the concept of the language learning process.
Masyarakat seluruh dunia menyaksikan perubahan drastik dalam kehidupan mereka sejak berlakunya penularan wabak COVID-19. Perubahan ini meliputi semua aspek kehidupan termasuklah sosial, ekonomi dan politik. Masyarakat terpaksa mengharungi norma kehidupan baharu bagi mengekang penularan pandemik ini. Bidang pendidikan sama ada di peringkat rendah, menengah mahu pun institusi pengajian tinggi turut terkesan dengan perubahan tersebut. Di Malaysia, para pendidik dan pelajar mula beralih daripada pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) di dalam bilik darjah dan bilik kuliah kepada norma baharu PdP dalam talian (online). Pelbagai platform digunakan untuk merealisasi sistem PdP seperti penggunaan Google Classroom, Telegram, Zoom, Microsoft Teams dan sebagainya agar pelajar tidak ketinggalan dalam proses pembelajaran. Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) turut melaksanakan pembelajaran dalam talian selaras dengan arahan Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi supaya pembelajaran pelajar dapat diteruskan tanpa sebarang halangan. Kajian ini cuba melihat perubahan ini dari kaca mata pelajar Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia untuk mengetahui pandangan mereka tentang pembelajaran dalam talian. Kajian tinjauan ini menggunakan soal selidik bentuk terbuka. Responden kajian terdiri daripada pelajar Tahun 3 yang mengikuti kursus Metodologi Penyelidikan (MP) pada semester satu sesi akademik 2020/2021. Hasil kajian mendapati kursus ini sukar untuk dipelajari melalui dalam talian kerana memerlukan penerangan secara terus dan terperinci daripada pensyarah. Selain itu, pelajar juga kurang selesa mengikuti pembelajaran dalam talian kerana tidak dapat bersemuka dengan pensyarah untuk bertanyakan apa jua permasalahan yang dihadapi semasa melakukan tugasan. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan input kepada pihak pensyarah dan pentadbir universiti untuk memastikan kaedah PdP yang bersesuaian kepada pelajar dan memberi manfaat yang optimal dalam pembelajaran mereka.
