Введение. Современный этап развития сосудистой хирургии характеризуется широкими диагностическими возможностями, а также разработкой разных видов и способов протезирования и шунтирования сосудов. Интерес к изучению вариантной анатомии кровеносных сосудов верхней конечности определяется необходимостью минимизировать риск интраоперационных осложнений. Цель исследования. Изучить варианты ветвления подмышечной артерии и установить общие закономерности их индивидуальной изменчивости. Материал и методы. Методом макропрепарирования изучены артерии верхних конечностей 43 тел взрослых людей обоего пола. Результаты. Выявлены варианты топографии и ветвления подмышечной артерии, установленные чаще всего на верхней конечности, у лиц мужского пола, монолатерально, справа. Выводы. Знание индивидуальной изменчивости архитектоники подмышечной артерии необходимо для выбора наиболее оптимальной техники хирургических вмешательств.
