Applying education ideas and concepts to education sites, through good educational policies, to complete education tasks is important for developing personal potential. Centered on students, educational objective is to cultivate multiple talents for the future society. In such a rapidly changing era, limited knowledge is not enough to cope with challenge in future societies. In other words, the knowledge possessed presently could not solve the problems faced in the future. The nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design model is utilized in this study. Total 104 students in two classes in Chang Jung Christian University, Taiwan are experimented. The research results show (1) significant effects of exploratory education on creativity, (2) the optimal creativity promoted by exploratory education with virtual reality, (3) remarkable effects of exploratory education on leadership, and (4) the optimal leadership enhanced by exploratory education with virtual reality. Finally, suggestions are proposed according to the research results, expecting to educate students, with technology, to open the door of creativity and leadership.
The emergence of e-books with the characteristics of easy access and reading any time anywhere is a subject of debate in academia. Topics include the use of e-books in libraries, their use in support teaching, new possibilities for reading activities, potential uses for library archives, and the motivation and intention of e-book users. Students at Guilin University of Technology participated in a survey. Of the 300 copies of the questionnaire distributed, 263 valid copies were returned, a retrieval rate of 88%. The research results show that (1) Usability and reading need are the key factors in e-book usage. Usability refers to convenient keyword searches, portability, and any time reading. E-books are considered to make searching and reading large amounts of data easier. (2) E-books are not restricted to time and space so that the overall reading quantity is increasing. Readers become accustomed to reading e-books, and the quality of their digital reading is gradually enhanced. (3) Students should complete e-book use courses offered by libraries to enhance their familiarity with e-books and their use of e-book software, thereby enhancing postgraduate student readers' e-book information literacy. The results of the research prompt suggestions to enhance the promotion of reading and e-book information to encourage student readers' e-book reading intention.
The corrosion of carbon steel is always a very serious issue, and the addition of corrosion inhibitors is an effective approach to prohibiting the corrosion of carbon steel. Because expired drugs are environmentally friendly, green, and non‐toxic; thus, this work provides a new idea for the treatment of expired drugs. The expired flunarizine hydrochloride (FH) is used as corrosion inhibitors for Q235 steel, investigating the corrosion inhibition efficiency of expired FH with different concentrations for carbon steel and illustrating the corrosion inhibition mechanism. Electrochemical impedance and Tafel curves are used to investigate the corrosion inhibition of carbon steel under 1 M HCl solution with different concentrations of the expired FH, and the corrosion efficiency is calculated according to the immersion tests, and the corrosion inhibition efficiency is more than 88.5%. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR), and Raman spectroscopy strongly support the results of the electrochemical experiment. Besides, the simulation results also provide the strong supports for the experimental results.
Two-dimensional (2D) layered antimony (Sb) materials are of importance due to their unique chemical and physical properties, although they can easily be electrochemically exfoliated from the bulk Sb in Na2SO4...
In order to explore the potential utilization value of iron tailings, the typical solid waste-iron tailings was introduced into rigid polyurethane foam (RPUF) as a flame retardant filler in this paper. The flame retardant performance, combustion performance, gas-phase products and char residue’s related properties of RPUF/ITS composites were systematically investigated by limiting oxygen index, thermogravimetric (TG), cone calorimetry (CCT) and thermogravimetric-infrared spectrometry (TG-FTIR). The results showed that ITS improved the overall thermal stability of the composites, and the T-5%, T-50%, Tmax1, Tmax2 and char residue rates were all higher than those of the pure samples. The CCT indicated that ITS had a certain effect on smoke suppression and heat release reduction. The peak heat release rate of RPUF-6 was reduced by 22.75% compared with that of the pure sample, and the total smoke release of RPUF-2 was reduced by 25.36%. Smoke factor (SF), fire growth rate index and fire performance index indicated that ITS reduced the fire risk of RPUF/ITS composites. TG-FTIR showed that ITS inhibited the decomposition of RPUF/ITS composites, and the release intensity of hydrocarbons, CO2, isocyanate compound, CO, aromatic compounds and esters decreased significantly. TG, MCC, scanning electron microscope and Raman implied that ITS promoted the formation of a dense char layer in RPUF and improved the heat resistance of the char layer.
A series of hydrazone-based N,O-chelate half-sandwich iridium complexes have been synthesized through a facile route with good yields. These air- and moisture stable iridium complexes exhibited excellent catalytic activity in...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
