Abstract The principal has a strategic role in developing and intensifying teachers’ competencies, including sustainable professional development. The Principal is under an obligation to provide guidance, assistance, assessment and supervision to teachers related to the organization and development of pedagogical skills. An appointed principal with qualified supervisory skill in carrying out these duties is necessary to accomplish the guidance and supervision processes technically in well-balanced, stable and dynamic. Supervision responsibility can be actually carried out anytime and anywhere, but in an educational organization system, supervisors should be directly presented in controlling the continual direction and guidance for the development of teachers objectively. Sustainable professionalism development for professional teachers can be emphatically actualized by providing proper awards, teacher certification, education and training, provision of learning facilities, equal distribution of teaching and learning hours, and provision of incentives based on their duties and responsibilities. Endorsements of sustainable professionality development for professional teachers consist of self-development, scientific publications, and or innovative works. Every supervision result needs to be ceaselessly followed up with an ongoing evaluation in order to get a solution in achieving the improvement of teachers’ professionalism. Abstrak Kepala sekolah mempunyai peran strategis dalam upaya pengembangan dan peningkatan kompetensi guru, termasuk pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan. Kepala Sekolah bertugas memberikan bimbingan, bantuan, pengawasan dan penilaian kepada guru terkait dengan penyelenggaraan dan pengembangan pendidikan pengajaran. Kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, dengan kompetensi supervisi dapat melakukan proses pembinaan dan pengawasan secara seimbang, stabil dan dinamis. Tugas supervisi sesungguhnya dapat dilaksanakan kapan saja dan di mana saja, tetapi dalam sistem organisasi pendidikan, supervisor perlu hadir secara langsung untuk memberi arahan dan pembinaan secara objektif. Upaya pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan bagi guru dapat dilakukan dalam bentuk penghargaan, sertifikasi guru, pendidikan dan pelatihan, penyediaan fasilitas pembelajaran, pemerataan jam pembelajaran, pemberian insentif sesuai beban tugas dan tanggungjawabnya. Penguatan pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan bagi guru, meliputi pengembangan diri, publikasi ilmiah, dan karya inovatif. Setiap hasil supervisi perlu ditindaklanjuti agar mendapatkan solusi dalam rangka peningkatan profesionalisme guru.
Progress in information and technology simultaneously affect patterns of interaction and communication systems in education and learning. The availability of increasingly complex communication devices, is so simple that it is increasingly easy to use. Communication is a bridge to establish interactions between individuals and groups, sending messages between individuals and groups can be received directly without time difference even though far apart. The learning process as an interaction and communication is directed to help develop all the potential, skills, positive characteristics possessed by students. Learning interaction patterns and criteria can be done with basic patterns of interaction, interaction centered on content, interaction centered on the teacher, interaction centered on students, communication learning is very important in order to determine the success of education. The learning achievements of each graduate are also influenced by patterns of interaction and communication systems applied by educators. The teaching and learning process, mostly occurs because of the communication process, both which takes place intrapersonal and interpersonal. Progress an educational technology also results in the increasingly available educational devices based on optic / teleconference sources and learning materials available on the internet, media and learning tools based on visual and audio visual. Learning technology will lead to curriculum improvement, improvement of teacher / lecturer resources, improvement of graduate quality, absorption of graduates and satisfaction of alumni users. Abstrak Kemajuan informasi dan teknologi secara simultan sudah mempengaruhi pola interaksi dan sistem komunikasi pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Ketersediaan perangkat komunikasi yang semakin kompleks, sangat sederhana sehingga semakin mudah digunakan. Komunikasi merupakan jembatan untuk menjalin interaksi antara individu dan kelompok, pengiriman pesan antar individu dan kelompok dapat diterima secara langsung tanpa perbedaan waktu meskipun tempat berjauhan. Proses pembelajaran sebagai interkasi dan komunikasi diarahkan untuk membantu mengembangkan semua potensi, kecakapan, karakteristik positif yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Pola dan kriteria interaksi pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan pola dasar interaksi, interaksi berpusat pada isi, interaksi berpusat pada guru, interaksi berpusat pada siswa, komunikasi pembelajaran sangat penting dalam rangka menentukan keberhasilan pendidikan. Capaian pembelajaran setiap lulusan dipengaruhi pula oleh pola interaksi dan sistem komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh tenaga pendidik. Dalam proses belajar mengajarnya, sebagian besar terjadi karena proses komunikasi, baik yang berlangsung secara intrapersona maupun secara antarpersona. Kemajuan teknologi pendidikan juga berakibat pada semakin tersedianya perangkat pendidikan yang berbasis optic/teleconference sumber dan bahan belajar yang tersedia di intenet, media dan perangkat pembelajaran yang berbasis visual dan audio visual. Teknologi pembelajaran akan bermuara pada perbaikan kurikulum, peningkatan sumberdaya guru/dosen, peningkatakan mutu lulusan, daya serap lulusan dan kepuasan pengguna alumni.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pengaruh kemampuan guru PAI terhadap peningkatan adversity quotient siswa, (2) Pengaruh keterampilan guru PAI mengelola kelas terhadap peningkatan adversity quotient siswa, (3) Pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara kemampuan guru PAI dan keterampilan mengelola kelas terhadap adversity quotient siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 2 Kota Pangkalpinang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif Subjek yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 205 orang siswa yang mengacu pada pengambilan sampel dari tabel Morgan dan Krejcie. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan: (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kemampuan guru PAI terhadap adversity quotient siswa SMK Negeri 2 Kota Pangkalpinang. (2) Terdapat Pengaruh positif dan signifikan keterampilan mengelola kelas terhadap adversity quotient siswa SMK Negeri 2 Kota Pangkalpinang. (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan guru PAI dan keterampilan mengelola kelas terhadap peningkatan adversity quotient siswa SMK Negeri 2 Kota Pangkalpinang
Implementation of school level education is determined by the readiness, competence and ability of teachers in managing and controlling learners. This study focuses only on the readiness of teachers of Islamic Education (PAI) in planning, implementing and conducting assessments in the learning process. This study aims to determine the strategy of learning planning, preparation of learning materials, methods of implementation and evaluation techniques by teachers of Islamic Education at SMAN in Pangkalpinang City. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. The results showed that PAI teachers at SMAN had done the planning by containing competency standards, basic competencies, indicators, learning objectives, subject matter, approaches, strategies and learning methods, learning activities, tools / learning resources and assessment. While the method of palembang is more dominant using lectures, discussions, assignments and practices. While the means of assessment use in writing, oral and observation.
