The article describes experimental research of bending rubber fiber concrete elements with favorable deformation-strength characteristics. The use of such a material as fiberrubcon in load-bearing structures due to its high strength leads to a decrease in material consumption and weight of structures.
The paper presents composition of innovative material used for corrosion protection of reinforced concrete structures and experimental data on the increase in cracking of reinforced concrete elements coated with polymer-cement protective layer against corrosive media.
In order to research on the influence of the height of the fiber reinforcement zone on the normal sections crack resistance, we produced and tested rubcon beams of rectangular cross section with mixed reinforcement; our studies showed that the height of the fiber reinforcement zone has a similar effect on the normal sections crack resistance with the percentage of longitudinal reinforcement. It is important to note that the arrangement of fiber reinforcement at 3/4 of the section height greatly complicates the process of manufacturing the beam while not increasing the strength of the tensile zone compared to the beams with the location of the fiber over the entire height of the section.
Rubber concrete (rubcon) - polymer concrete, which has high strength properties, as well as the constructions made of it. Fibrorubcon – rubber concrete with the addition of disperse reinforcement. On the basis of test results for pure bending, empirical dependencies and prerequisites for adapting existing methods for calculating the strength of normal sections of rubcon and fibrorubcon beams were obtained. These studies allow developing methods for calculating the normal cross sections of bending elements made of rubber concrete using deformation diagrams and taking into account the work of stretched polymer concrete.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
