In this paper we select the time series data of Jiangxi province of China in 1985-2014, and construct VECM model to analyze the inuence of industrial structure adjustment on the development of modern logistics industry in Jiangxi province of China. The study has found that there is a stable long-term equilibrium relationship between the development level of logistics industry and the three industries in Jiangxi Province and each additional 1% of the primary industry accounted for the proportion of GDP, will cause the development level of the logistics industry increased by 1.445%, each additional 1% of the second and third industry upgrade rate, will promote the development of the logistics industry increased by 11.508% and 4.166%. We draw a conclusion that in the short term, there is a dynamic non-equilibrium relationship between the development level of logistics industry and industrial structure in Jiangxi Province, and the existence of error correction mechanism makes the non-equilibrium state in the short term tend to be balanced in the long run. The proportion of the added value of the rst and second industries is the unidirectional Granger reason of the development level of the logistics industry in Jiangxi Province. In addition, the contribution rate of the rst and second industries to the development level of logistics industry in Jiangxi province is larger, while the variance contribution rate of the third industry is small. Finally, this paper gives the corresponding policy recommendations.
Based on the panel data of 16 cities in Anhui from 2010–2018, this paper measures the index system of fiscal structure and high-quality economic development in Anhui using the entropy weight method, and empirically analyzes the coordinated development level of fiscal structure and high-quality economic development in Anhui using coupled coordination degree model. The study finds that: (1) the overall structure of Anhui’s fiscal expenditure is characterized by "service-oriented and investment-oriented", and there is a phenomenon that contradicts "Wagner Principle", and there are also spatial and temporal differences in Anhui’s tax structure. (2) The level of high-quality development of Anhui economy shows a steady upward trend, but is still at a low level. (3) The level of coordinated development of fiscal structure and high-quality economic development is still low, and the overall situation is "on the verge of disorder" or "barely coordinated". (4) Regionally, the overall coordination of fiscal expenditure structure, tax structure, and high-quality economic development in southern Anhui shows a decreasing trend, while the overall coordination in central and northern Anhui shows an increasing trend, so that southern Anhui has been or will be surpassed by northern and middle Anhui, and the growth rate of middle Anhui is faster than that of northern Anhui.
Environmental regulation plays an important role in enhancing urban land green use efficiency (ULGUE), while economic and environmental performance evaluation may also impact ULGUE in the Chinese context. Using data from 282 prefecture-level cities in China from 2006 to 2019, this article empirically tests the impacts of performance evaluation and environmental regulation on ULGUE by establishing a two-way fixed-effect model. The results show that environmental regulation has a significant contribution to ULGUE. However, environmental regulation also significantly increase carbon emissions from urban construction land, which is mainly influenced by the Chinese government's performance assessment. Therefore, the effect of performance evaluation is also examined. Economic performance evaluation is detrimental to environmental regulation and ULGUE, while environmental performance evaluation significantly contribute to both. Furthermore, economic performance evaluation and environmental regulation can synergistically promote ULGUE, however, environmental performance evaluation failed to have the same synergistic effect. Notably, when the ratio of economic performance evaluation to environmental performance evaluation was 2:8, performance evaluation and environmental regulation reached the optimal level for promoting ULGUE. Therefore, to improve ULGUE, it is necessary to establish and strengthen the constraint mechanism of environmental regulation on carbon emission from urban construction land. Meanwhile, local governments' performance assessment mechanism must be improved and the ratio of economic to environmental performance evaluation should be reasonably configured.
