Identification of radar clutter model is one important step to choose optimum CFAR processor in radar signal detection, and Anderson-Darling (AD) goodness-of-fit test considered the practical and effective way under small sample size. As K distribution is a complex model providing suitable description for the amplitude of microwave sea clutter, the research on K distribution in AD test is useful but very difficult. Moment-based methods are widely used to estimate parameters of K distribution and comparison show that methods with lower moments are more accurate. Further in AD test, the influence of shape parameter on critical value (CV) for K distribution is presented. Taking it into account, tables of AD test results using varied critical value advanced in our study and fixed critical value proposed in previous research are shown based on Monte Carlo simulations.
The distribution of poles affects the property of the automatic control system. The paper studies how the poles in the left half of s-plane affect the transient performance of the system by Matlab tools and analyzes the reasons for these effects. Discuss the different effects of the closed-loop poles and the open-loop poles to the same automatic control system.
Spectrum sensing is a crucial issue in cognitive radio networks for primary user detection. Cooperative sensing based on energy detection in the cognitive radio network with multiple antennas base-station is considered in this letter. To improve the sensing performance, we investigate hybrid fusion of the observed energies from the base-station and decisions (1bit, hard information) from different cognitive radio (CR) users around the base-station. Further, we present an optimized scheme where the global detection probability can be maximized according to the Neyman-Pearson criterion. Finally the impact of the change of parameters (Signal to Noise Ratio and number of CR users) in the optimized scheme is analyzed. Numerical simulations and extensive analysis confirm that hybrid fusion base on the optimized scheme is a good choice, also, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and number of CR users does not have influence on the optimized scheme
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
