Зміст статті зумовлений потребою в урізноманітненні засобів та методів навчання молодших школярів, які вже 3-й рік навчаються за програмами НУШ. Охарактеризовано види картографічних посібників (атласи; стінні, настільні, контурні, інтерактивні карти; електронні посібники; глобуси тощо) та на конкретних прикладах показано важливість застосування атласу як провідного та незамінного засобу навчання сучасних учнів. У публікації висвітлено переваги використання атласів «Я досліджую світ. Суспільство. Історія. Культура» та «Я досліджую світ. Природознавство» у роботі з учнями 1-го класу й наведено чіткі методичні рекомендації до організації роботи з ними. Встановлено, що дидактичний потенціал атласів сприяє забезпеченню часткової візуалізації освітнього матеріалу (рухи Землі, форми рельєфу, календар з «правилами кісточок» тощо); дає можливість використовувати їх у процесі роботи над проєктами (наприклад, «Видатні постаті», «Винаходи людства», «Юні українці-винахідники»). Наявність яскравих малюнків створює умови для складання розповіді за сюжетом і відповідей на запитання за їхнім змістом, вирішення цікавих завдань тощо. Невеликі тексти для читання розкривають зміст ключових понять теми, забезпечують розвиток зв'язного мовлення й дають можливість для реалізації ідей інтеграції в курсі ЯДС. Доступні для сприйняття контурні карти дають змогу одразу формувати предметні уміння у дітей із нанесення географічних об 'єктів, їх розрізнення, класифікації (форми рельєфу, гідрологічні об'єкти, населені пункти) тощо. Також у статті приділяється значна увага парній та груповій організації роботи з атласом, що забезпечує формування у молодших школярів навичок співпраці як одного з наскрізних умінь школяра, представлених у нормотворчих документах початкової школи.На основі одержаних результатів зроблено висновок про те, що використання атласів сприяє формуванню в учнів 1-го класу усіх складових частин природознавчої, громадянської та історичної компетентностей учнів, створює реальні можливості для інтеграції навчального матеріалу та посилення освітніх результатів з предмету «Я досліджую світ».Ключові слова: учні 1-го класу, картографічна продукція, атласи, «Я досліджую світ».
The topic and content of the article are determined by the search for new forms, methods and means of primary education future specialists' training for professional activity in the context of standardization of the specialty. The importance of using the museum as a regional and national component of cultural education is highlighted. Approaches to the essence of museum pedagogy as a tool of expanding the educational space of education seekers, a combination of an accessible educational environment and modern information and communication tools that allow for more effective organization of education in educational institutions of various levels are characterized. The expediency of modern forms and methods of educational activity using in museums is indicated: interactive educational programs, program lectures, lessons, quests, games, demonstrations, etc. Research attention to the potential of museum pedagogy for the formation of individual professional competences in students of the first (bachelor) level of higher education is paid. The components of the museum environment structure (personal, material, organizational) and elements of the model of the museum-pedagogical process are singled out. Based on them, the study of educational components that prepare future primary school teachers to implement the content of linguistic, literary, natural, civic and historical educational fields is organized. The subjects of educational classes, which should be conducted as offline excursions in museums or as virtual excursions during online education, are given, with an indication of the professional competences that these classes form. The stages of work with students in the museum environment are described: preparatory (general information), main, final. The effectiveness of such forms of work with students of higher education in museums as: scavenger hunt (organization of independent work, without a museum employee), interactive excursion, quest-excursion, quest-role play (independent preparation of reports by students on the content of museum exhibits, organization of group work with classmates) is reavealed.
