The purpose of writing this paper is to describe the speech acts of perlocution in speech between the seller and buyer of vegetables in the Randudongkal market. The method used to describe the speech acts of perlocution in this speech is descriptive qualitative. The research technique used is in the form of competent free listening, note-taking, and recording techniques. Research data in the form of words, phrases, and sentences that contain acts of speech in the discussion between the seller and buyer of vegetables. The theory used is the pragmatic theory with a focus on speech acts of percussion in speech. There are four types of findings of speech actuality in speech between the seller and buyer of vegetables in the Rndudongkal market, namely representative is a speech act that states a truth, a directive is a speech act that states an order, a commissive act is a speech act that states a commitment, and expressive are a speech act that expresses psychological action. The results of this study indicate that the act of perlocutionary speech that is often used by sellers and buyers of vegetables in the Randudongkal market is the type of directive actuation perlocution, especially the type of demand.
This study aimed to describe the form of Javanese ethics of life in Ki Padmasusastra's Serat Kandha Bumi. Life ethics contains an attitude of life in which there is an attitude of harmony and respect. The life ethics referred to are all Javanese orientations to achieve goals in life as well as in interacting with other humans. Meanwhile, the Javanese referred to are figures in Serat Kandha Bumi whose orientation in life and in their daily lives cannot be separated from elements of Javanese ethics. The method used to reveal the Javanese ethics of life in Serat Kondha Bumi is qualitative. The resulting data is in the form of words; phrase; sentence; and paragraph. The data were obtained from text descriptions in Serat Kondha Bumi which explain the attitudes of Javanese in the form of dialogue, monologue and narration. The theory used is literary sociology with a focus on the ethics of Javanese life. The results of this study are Javanese life ethics in religion which includes pracaya and mituhu attitudes, Javanese life ethics with oneself includes a rila (real) attitude and sabar (patience), and Javanese life ethics in social life including ethok-ethok (dissimulating), wedi (eeriness), and sungkan (hesitate).
This study describes the revitalization of traditional food in Central Java. Primary data in the form of words and phrases that indicate the names of traditional foods in Central Java were collected through interviews, while secondary data – a discourse about traditional food in Central Java – were collected through documentation techniques. The design of this research was qualitative research. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and concluding. The results indicated that the revitalization of traditional Central Javanese food needs to be carried out to maintain the cultural values contained in it. The revitalization could be carried out through several aspects, including aspects of increasing branding, varying the flavor of the products, improving the quality of packaging, increasing the quantity of marketing, and increasing the public understanding regarding the nutritional value and the variety of traditional foods in Central Java.
