Flash flood (debris flow) or people of Padang called “galodo” is one disaster that could threaten any time, especially at plateau with high rainfall. This study is an attempt to design prototype which is implemented to detect the content of the existing material in river flows due to “Galodo”. This research design and implement the wireless sensor network to transmit information or sensor output data and data receivers on prototype of “Galodo” material detection with laboratory testing scale. This system consist of a transmitter device that includes a sound sensor, Arduino Uno, and XBee S2, and a receiver that includes the XBee S2 and raspberry Pi as a database server. Data in data server are expected can distinguish the water in” Galodo” bring small material such as sand or larger or just contain of water. The information obtained display in graphic on the website to system data monitoring including time delay for sending data from transmitter to receiver.
The purpose of this research is to design and implement a new design of a low-cost, portable and prospective laboratory kit module. Laboratory kits are made easy to assemble, with relatively small dimensions. and suitable for use in laboratories with limited experimental space and funds. The research stages are carried out starting with needs analysis, hardware design, software design and overall testing. The test results of the DHT 11 temperature sensor can read the temperature and humidity index whose data is in the form of digital data and is displayed on the LCD. The PWM of the DC motor and the direction of rotation of the motor can be controlled using the DHT11 sensor. The keypad can control the direction of rotation of the servo motor so that students are expected to be able to provide authentication through a password with a keypad. Testing the module kit for data communication using the local network Testing the module kit for data communication using the local network is able to control the motor and relay even though there is still a delay in sending data this is due to the condition of the internet network at the time of testing. The overall test results work well. It is hoped that this module will encourage students to be able to create technological innovation applications based on embedded systems and IoT which will lead to the creation of technology among students.
Stroke patients who experience hemiparese who do not receive proper treatment can cause complications of functional disorders, impaired mobilization, disruption of daily activities and incurable disabilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of passive Range Of Motion (ROM) exercise on increasing the range of motion of stroke patients in the Neurology Room at RSUD M.Natsir.This research design is quasi experimental with the design used is one group pretest - postest design.In this study, passive Range Of Motion (ROM) was performed on the upper extremities of stroke patients for five days, twice a day.The number of respondents in 30 stroke patients who experienced hemiparese,The data was collected by direct measurement using a measuring instrument for the degree of motion of the joints, namely the goniometer, and data analysis was carried out using the t dependent test (normally distributed data).The results showed a significant difference in the range of motion of the upper limb joints before and after passive ROM exercises. The conclusion that ROM exercises affect the range of motion of the upper limb joints in stroke patients.Passive ROM can be an alternative to increase the range of motion of the joints in the upper and lower extremities in stroke patients.
<p>Penelitian ini berawal dari kenyataaan di sekolah bahwa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran konsep, guru belum menggunakan alat peraga yang sesuai dengan materi, disebabkan alat peraga yang terbatas, walaupun ada alat peraga yang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran, guru kurang mengerti cara menggunakannya. Sehingga siswa sulit memahami konsep-konsep khususnya pengurangan bilangan cacah. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran pengurangan bilangan cacah, maka digunakanlah Blok Dienes dengan cara tanpa teknik meminjam dan dengan teknik meminjam. Teknik ini dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep pengurangan bilangan, yaitu dalam menentukan bilangan pengurang dengan bilangan yang akan dikurang, serta besar kecilnya bilangan yang akan dikurang dengan bilangan pengurang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas di SDN. 21 Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Subjek penelitian ber jumlah 37 orang siswa, yang terdiri dari siswa laki-laki 20 orang dan siswa perempuan 17 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus yaitu siklus I dua kali pertemuan dan siklus II satu kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan Blok Dienes dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pengurangan bilangan cacah dalam mata pelajaran matematika kelas I SD Negeri 21 Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.</p>
