In this paper, a family of secondary-side commonmode (CM) noise suppressers is proposed for off-line switchingmode power supplies (SMPSs) used in fault current limiter (FCL). Not only the operation principle of the proposed secondary-side CM noise suppressers is quite straightforward, but also the circuit configuration is extremely simply. Hence, component size as well as cost of the off-line can reduced significantly. An off-line Flyback-type power converter using the proposed CM noise suppresser is analyzed in detail, finally, along with some experimental results to verify the performance and effectiveness of this power supplies.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
