The relevance of studying the murals is that the murals allow to diversify the tourist offer of the capital. The purpose of this publication is to analize the development of the murals and the opportunity of using them as a new type of tourism resource. One of the subjects of the study is to carry out a retrospective analysis of the existing collection of Kyiv’s murals and to substantiate their use in the organization of excursion routes in order to inform tourists. During the study of the murals, the creation of the route allows to track the change in the image of the urban environment under the influence of street art. In the process of researching the murals as a tourist resources of cities, we have introduced the term “conceptual tourist resources”, which in our opinion most accurately reflects their semantic charge. Murals are the alternative resources towards traditional tourism resources (natural, historical, cultural, socio-economical or socio-historical) that are widely used in the classifications of leading researchers in the tourism industry (Kvartal’nov V., Smal’ I., Beidyk O., Mal’s’ka M., Kuzyk S., Liubitseva O., Pankova Ye., Stafiichuk V., etc.). The study identified the 32 biggest murals in Kyiv and found that the murals are the relevant forms of street art that focuses on social, cultural, and historical topics. Mural paintings have been found to be motivating objects to visit and affect the formation of city’s new symbols. In the route we have developed, we have selected 24 representative murals made in different styles, dedicated to several topics: milestones of Ukrainian history, the fight between good and evil, friendship and devotion, freedom and equality. Thus, the involvement of murals in excursion routes allows residents and guests of the capital city to track the change in the image of the urban environment under the influence of street art. In the course of the study, it was found that murals are ambiguously perceived in society. The analysis showed that the appearance of modern murals on the streets of the capital began in the mid-2000s, a sharp increase in their number occurred during 2015 - 2017. It was determined that the main factors that influenced the development of muralism in Ukraine were the demands of society and the organization of art festivals, including Muralissimo, City Art, Dynamic Urban Culture Kyiv, Mural Social Club, Art United Us, Mural Social Club Back to school! Ukraine, French Spring, etc. The largest art festivals include City Art 2015, Dynamic Urban Culture Kyiv 2015, Mural Social Club 2016, 2017, Art United Us 2016, 2017, within which 88 works were created. The results of the study identified the trend in the development of muralism in Ukraine, which consists of the gradual change from spontaneous, anonymous street art to the development of concerted and commissioned by state bodies paintings, which are spread not only on the walls of industrial sites, residential buildings, but also on the walls of educational institutions, government institutions and the police department. Kyiv is the first city in the world where a mural was created on the walls of the police department. The study found that since the mid-2010, the murals began to establish in the central part of the city, and since 2014 they have spread to the so-called “gray” residential areas of Sviatoshyno, Darnytskyi, Desnyanskiy and Solomianskyi districts and Obolon’, etc. Today, the total number of murals in the capital is 160.
Today there is a significant demand for unique tourist resources, new interesting routes that meet the cognitive interests and daily tourist practices of the urban population. The objects of street art are distinguished by the fact that due to their strong artistic content, they are able to arouse interest and inspire reflection on socially important issues and problems of today and meet the demand of tourists both within organized tours and amateur tourism. The object of research is conceptual tourist resources or street art objects of Kyiv. The main focus is on such types of resources as murals and minimalist sculptures, which are cultural symbols of the capital. The purpose of this research is to carry out a spatial analysis of street art objects and to develop excursion art routes on the basis of the obtained results of the distribution of street art resources by administrative territorial formations of the city. The main problem was to find the possibility of breeding tourist flows to ensure the rational use of available resources of street art and reduce the tourist load on the open public spaces of the capital, which are traditionally areas of greatest concentration of vacationers. A sociological survey of three age categories (18–25 years, 26–35 years, over 36 years) showed that 76.7 % of respondents consider murals to be the decoration of the capital, and 88 % of the total number noted the importance of the external design of murals. Under the conditions of choosing the subject of wall painting for wall decoration in the area of residence, 51 % of respondents preferred social subjects, 20 % – environmental and 17 % portraits of famous people. Almost 84 % of respondents expressed interest in receiving extended information about modern art objects, with subsequent participation in the tour, of which the greatest interest was formed in the age group of 18–25 years. As a result of the spatial analysis of the street art resources of the Kyiv districts, it was established that as of July 2021, more than 200 street art objects have been created in Kyiv. The largest number of them locates in Shevchenkivskyi district – 64, and the smallest number – 4 in Desnianskyi district. Tourist interest, in the context of the tourist potential of street art, is formed by mini-sculptures created within the project “Search”, reflecting the cultural symbols of the capital. For pedestrian routes, based on the results of spatial analysis, Podilsky and Darnytskyi districts were chosen as representative areas, which allows to diversify tourist flows within the city. The proposed study was not limited to the size of the murals, which allowed to include in the analysis murals created both on residential buildings and on high concrete fences, on the walls of educational institutions, if they had a certain cognitive component. This allowed to expand the possibilities of involving street art objects in excursion routes in certain districts of Kyiv. The route in Podilskyi district includes 13 street art objects, including 9 murals and 4 mini sculptures. The route through the Darnytskyi district of the capital includes 15 murals, which are considered to be the most monumental murals in the city of Kyiv. The developed routes allow to get acquainted with the monumental street art executed in various techniques and devoted to various subjects.
Purpose. The purpose of this research was to analyze the thematic orientation, drivers, location and perception by residents of street art in Ukrainian cities. Accordingly, the research questions are as follows: where and which street art pieces are located in cities? what are the main triggers of their spread in urban space? how city residents percept street art? what dwellers think about impact of street art on socio-cultural space and should street art be regulated in cities? Research methods. The study is based on an analysis of media reports on street art, the results of in-depth semi-structured interviews with Kyiv residents, and the authors’ observations on the streets of several Ukrainian cities. Twelve semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with Kyiv residents in April-May 2021, which included blocks of questions on the perception of street art, its subject matter, location and the need to control and regulate their creation and distribution. The authors conducted observations on the streets during 2017-2021 in the cities of Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, Poltava, Kamyanets-Podilskyi, and Kramatorsk. Main findings. Based on the previous research, the main forms of street art and their place in urban space are analyzed. The analysis of street art pieces in Ukraine showed that in general there are tendencies of decentralization of their location in the urban space and regionalization. In other words, street art is spreading from the city center to the periphery, and along with the capital city and the main regional centers, street art pieces are becoming common elements of the urban space of other cities and towns. The vision of the residents testifies to their demand for the conformity of new street art pieces to the socio-cultural environment, the appropriateness of placement, and “embeddedness” into the urban space. It was revealed that key drivers of street art booming in Ukraine are urban art festivals, mega events, socio-political events and social troubles, developers` initiatives, as well as participatory budgeting programs. At the same time, the methods of implementation, thematic orientation and location of street art can cause conflicts and protests from individual residents, social movements, and municipalities as well. An analysis of the attitude to the thematic orientation of street art showed that the topics of nature, images of prominent people with an unblemished reputation, representatives of the most important professions, national, patriotic and social topics that encourage reflection, as well as texts of famous poems and quotations are most welcoming for Kyiv residents. The attitude to political issues accompanied by various appeals is distinctly negative. It has been confirmed that the local context of street art objects is considered as more important. It is shown that with the generally positive perception of street art, city dwellers are interested in the need to control and regulate the location of new murals and other street art pieces taking into account the public participation principles. In a relatively short period, street art have become a common practice of renewal, "beatification" and "Europeanization" of the urban space of many Ukrainian cities. Scientific novelty and practical value. The article develops the understanding of the place of street art in the urban space revealing the main peculiarities of the location, distribution and perception of street art in Ukrainian cities. The practical value of the study lies in the focus on identifying prospects for the implementation of the principles of participatory urban planning in the context of the creation of new street art pieces as a mean of improving public spaces.

In today's world, there is little that can interest children in learning about the world around them. They are used to spending a lot of time in their gadgets. Namely, the school was created in order to develop children's abilities, skills and outlook. Fortunately, we have such an event as an excursion. Thanks to them, we can show students the world around as it is; just a walk near the school or a trip to the forest to show the beauty of this world, and most importantly - of their native land, and encourage them to love the Motherland. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to develop an educational excursion that combines knowledge of the native land and motivates to preserve nature. In the process of research, the main approaches to defining the concept of "excursion", the functions and methodical stages of the educational excursion were analyzed. Materials on the natural conditions of the Ponornytsk OTG and the Mezyn National Nature Park itself have also been developed. The next stage was the development of the author's excursion "Paths of Mezyn Park". 7 display objects were selected for the event. To learn the excursion material, a mini-game "Field of Miracles" was developed and a homework assignment was offered: creating a wall-newspaper "Vegetation of Mezyn Park".
