In order to ensure continuity in the supply of electrical energy to electrical receivers, as well as for the purposes of the safe and reliable maintenance of electrical installations under operating voltage, the insulation parame-ters according to which organizational and technical measures are being developed needs to be known. The use of such measures will allow ssocial and economic benefits to be achieved. This article discusses the method developed to establish insulation parameters in quarry distribution networks (QDN). Using the methodology developed, a study was conducted in the “Tarror” quarry. During the study the dynamics of changes in the insulation resistance of the phases of the network relative to the ground was evaluated. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that such measure-ments should be undertaken at least one year in advance. This will enable reasonable qualitative and quantitative conclu-sions to be drawn about the influence of environmental parameters on the insulation resistance of the phases of QDN rela-tive to the ground.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
