The article presents data on the physicochemical properties of the metabiotic «Bioterm», which are a de-termining factor in the positive effect of this preparation on providing a preventive and therapeutic effect in control of problems caused by disorders of intestinal normobiocenosis.
As a result of research, the effect of the peptide-amino acid chelated additive on hematological indicators and the concentration of amino acids in the blood of sire bulls was found. Application of the additive under investigation in, the amount of 2 and 3% of the weight of mixed feed, contributes to a reliable increase of total protein in blood serum of bulls by 9.5–12.3%, albumins – by 8.8-9.8, the content of trace elements – by 10.2-25.8%, and concentration of essential amino acids – by 0.08-1.26 p.p.
To improve the efficiency of clinical and biochemical studies in the assessment of the health state in farm animals it is necessary to carry out the differentiated selection of biochemical tests taking into account the specific, functional and physiological features of metabolism.
