Particularly , DBD plasma actuator is a promising technology on active controt of the flow separation. In lhe present work , efficiency of the plasma actUator is investigated experimentally for a varicty of parameters including dielectric materia1 , thickness of the dielectric plate , and gap between two clcctrodes . It is found that : ( a ) ethciency increases substantially with decreasing thickness of the dielectric plate , however maximum value exists for the applied voltage ;( b ) as fbr materials , efficiency of po 且 ytetrafluoroethylene ( PIFE ) is−400% 1arger compared to polyoxybenzylmethyleng ] ycolanhydride ( Bakelite ) , Key 〃b7ぬ : Plasma ActUator , Dielectric Barrier Discharge , Flow Contro1
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
