The development and progress of science and technology today cannot be separated from physics. Through physics, various benefits have been have been presented it turns out to contain serious problems, namely the crisis of morality and spirituality. The emergence and development of the problem is rooted in the secular physicist worldview, where God and religion are not the Worldview of Islam which makes God the basis for the development of science. Thus, Islam does not experience problems regarding the relationship of religion and science. This includes physics which has been proven factually by previous Islamic scientists. That is, worldview so designate how physics is developed. So, in this article will be described the variant of problems related to worldview, which are believed and used by physicists, in developing physics and technology and how the worldview of Islam responds to these problems as an alternative to the development of physics. Suhrawardi was a philosopher and a Sufi who robustly influenced the development of the sciences. With his philosophy of illumination (Hikmah al-Ishraq), he proposed the concept of hudhuri epistemology by which he fought against the domination of rationalistic and skeptical peripatetic epistemology that ultimately negated all forms of metaphysics. This paper aims to reveal the concept of Suhrawardi's epistemology, his anxiety and criticism of the validity problem of peripatetic philosophy, and the role of hudhuri's epistemology in responding to contemporary scientific challenges. This work is library research using documentary techniques to collect the necessary data. The collected data were analyzed utilizing the descriptive-analytical method. This study finds that the concept of hudhuri epistemology proposed by Suhrawardi presents the view that metaphysics is a dimension that cannot be separated from epistemology and can be rationalized. Furthermore, the metaphysical concept of faith, according to Suhrawardi, can be used as a solid philosophical foundation. Thus, with this hudhuri epistemology, the human senses and logical thinking limits can be transcended. Even with it, humans can acquire not only 'experience' or 'concepts' about reality, but they can also discover the nature of reality.
TMI Al-Amien Prenduan is an educational institution that applies foreign languages (Arabic and English) as the language used in daily conversation. This study aims to find out how the role of language in TMI Al-Amien Prenduan and its correlation with the educational and analytical values of the Taaj al-Ma'had philosophy. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. Data collection techniques are sourced from book documentation, articles, etc. The data analysis technique uses an approach from Miles & Hubarman with 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification or conclusions. The data validity technique uses confirmability through a language development group (Markazul Lughoh) which holds various daily, monthly or yearly language activities. The results show that the role of language is quite closely correlated with educational values, because learning and using (foreign) languages will not run without education., because learning and using (foreign) languages will not run without education. Coupled with the Taaj al-Ma'had philosophy that is ingrained in TMI Al-Amien Prenduan, language will always live and develop throughout time. It can be concluded that the role of language in TMI Al-Amien Prenduan is a fairly important element because if the language is not alive, then the crown of the cottage (taaj al-Ma'had) will be damaged and not develop. Language development has the full support of Markazul Lughoh and all the functionaries of the boarding school, including the students who are active in foreign languages in daily conversation. The theoretical and practical implications can be stated, the theoretical implications, the application of listening, speaking, reading, writing, composing and translating skills will make it easier for students to learn the language, Markazul Lughoh has an important role in improving the language quality of students. Practical implications, the results of this study are used as input for students and all functionaries of the Al-Amien Prenduan Islamic boarding school to always use foreign languages in daily conversation accordance with the philosophy of language is Taaj al-Ma'had.
