Multistate vibronic coupling between the excited 2Π states of the NO molecule J. Chem. Phys. 76, 4311 (1982); 10.1063/1.443565 n,π* fluorescence from selected vibronic levels of pyrimidine vapor: Franck-Condon factors and excited state anharmonic couplingThe electronic absorption spectra and Raman spectra of pyridine and pyridined s were measured. The vibrational analysis of the n 1T* absorption spectrum and the preresonance Raman effect showed that the CH out-of-plane bending vibration v lOa (a2) (of the ground and excited-state frequencies 886 and 331 cm-i for pyridine) is responsible for the vibronic coupling between the lowest n1T* state and the second lowest 1T1T* state.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
