Bu araştırmanın amacı gençlik merkezi üyelerinin yer bağlılıklarının incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla çalışmada, betimsel nitelik taşıyan tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın evreni, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı bünyesinde bulunan Gençlik Merkezlerindeki üyelerden, örneklemi ise, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığınca düzenlenen doğa, deniz veya kültür gençlik kamplarına katılan üyeler arasından tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiş 395 katılımcı oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ile Williams ve Roggenbuck (1989) tarafından geliştirilen, Ayar ve ark. (2022) tarafından uyarlanan “Yer Bağlılığı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde Student t-test, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve Tukey çoklu karşılaştırma testleri kullanılmıştır. Gençlik merkezi üyelerinin yaş, üyelik süresi, kardeş sayısı, aile gelir durumu ve aile içerisinden gençlik merkezine üye olma durumu değişkenlerinde anlamlı farklılık tespit edilememiştir. Ancak cinsiyet değişkeninde yer kimliği alt boyutu ile yer bağlılığı ölçeği toplam puanında, gitme sıklığı ve spor yapma durumu değişkenlerinde ise yere bağımlılık ve yer kimliği alt boyutları ile yer bağlılığı ölçeği toplam puanında anlamlı farklılık olduğu belirlendi. Spor yapan erkek ve her gün katılım sağlayan gençlik merkezi üyelerinin puan ortalamalarının yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Böylece gençlik merkezlerinin uygulayacağı faaliyetlerin hizmeti kalitesinin, gençlik merkezine olan yer bağlılığı düzeyine etki ettiği ifade edilebilir.
