The results revealed an uneven pattern of knowledge between urban and suburban dentists regarding the emergency management of avulsed teeth. The study highlighted Chinese dentists' need for continuing education in order to improve current knowledge in emergency management of avulsed teeth.
TDI in Beijing, China not only shows epidemiologic characteristics in common with many other studies in the world, but also shows different characteristics that should be further studied and taken into consideration when planning for preventive programs and emergency resources.
