The ac magnetic measurements on an organic metal, κ-(BETS)2FeCl4 down to 60 mK revealed successive antiferromagnetic and superconducting phase transitions at about 0.65 K (≈TN) and 0.1 K (≈TC), respectively. These transitions correspond to the similar transitions in the Br-analogue, κ-(BETS)2FeBr4 but the transition temperatures of FeCl4 system are significantly lower than those of FeBr4 system (TN = 2.5 K; TC = 1.1 K).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
