This paper presents a novel extended Kalman filter based method for estimating and tracking the RLC load resonance frequency. Assuming the load like an RLC circuit, state-space equations of the system is derived. A nonlinear timevariant model of the circuit is developed and an extended Kalman filter is performed to predict the performance of the system by estimating the real-time resonance frequency of a nonlinear RLC load. The simulation results show that the proposed method can accurately predict and track the resonance frequency of the RLC loads undergoes any types of changes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
