Objetivo: Analisar os fatores de risco na gênese do câncer gástrico, publicados nos últimos 10 anos. Métodos: Foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura com publicações entre 2008 e 2018 na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, indexados nas bases de dados: Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) e Índice Bibliográfico Espanhol de Ciências da Saúde (IBECS). Resultados: Foram identificadas 20 publicações, cujas análises textuais permitiram a construção de duas abordagens temáticas: hábitos e costumes; hábitos dietéticos como fatores de risco para desenvolvimento do câncer gástrico. Vários fatores considerados modificáveis são identificados no processo da carcinogênese gástrica, entre eles destacam-se: o tabagismo, o consumo abusivo de álcool, a obesidade, a ingestão elevada de sódio, o sedentarismo, a baixa ingestão de vegetais e frutas e alta ingestão de carne vermelha. Considerações Finais: Os hábitos, costumes e a ingesta dietética possuem uma relação estreita na carcinogênese gástrica, contribuindo de maneira negativa ou positiva no desenvolvimento e prognóstico dessa malignidade.
Objetivo: Analisar os fatores de risco para a síndrome de burnout em profissionais da saúde. Métodos: Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, transversal, com abordagem quantitativa, realizada em um hospital público. A população foi composta por uma equipe multiprofissional da Unidade de Terapia intensiva (UTI) do referido serviço, com uma amostra composta por 73 profissionais. Resultados: A pesquisa obteve maior prevalência de técnicos de enfermagem (43,8%), seguidos por fisioterapeutas (20,5%), enfermeiros (19,2%) e médicos (15,1%), com associação estatisticamente significativa para risco de burnout. A maioria dos profissionais são do sexo feminino (65,8%), possuem entre 30 e 39 anos (37,0%), têm filhos (56,2%), são casados (46,6%), atuam na área há mais de 10 anos (45,2%), recebem até 5 salários mínimos (79,4%), com jornada de trabalho semanal (68,5%) de 30 horas, trabalhando em mais de um hospital (78,1%), de maneira integral (76,7%). Conclusão: A identificação de tais fatores de risco é de extrema importância para a saúde dos trabalhadores da saúde, oferecendo subsídios a adoção de medidas preventivas e enfrentamento do referido problema.
Objective: To present the potential of university extension for medical training, based on the perception of extension workers.Method: This is an exploratory descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, carried out with medical students, former students of the university extension project of the elderly health. Wheels of conversations were made to base empirical production on a semi-structured interview script. The analysis was performed using Fiorin's speech analysis technique.Results: It was possible to verify, in this research, the power of the university extension in the medical training, the impact generated in the accompanied elderly people and the importance of the production of bond. It was also verified the importance of providing students with more projects that can give a return to society and foster in students the need not to stop only the pathology, but mainly to awaken the motivation for a humanized and integral care. Conclusion:The university extension provides an approximation with the community, through the bond and accountability between the academic and the elderly. In addition, it allows to contribute to improve and implant the sense of citizenship in the life of individuals.
