Um aglomerado estelar pode ser compreendido como um grupo de estrelas, com sua distribuição sendo de forma irregular ou organizada. Por vezes, os aglomerados são também regiões propícias para a formação de novas estrelas. Esses aglomerados são grandes nuvens moleculares que podem ter de 10 4 a 10 6 massas solares e são classificados, de acordo com sua distribuição, em abertos ou globulares. A caracterização de um aglomerado é importante para estimar a quantidade de estrelas e a classificação das mesmas. Logo, o presente trabalho objetivou caracterizar o aglomerado M67, que foi escolhido por ser um aglomerado aberto antigo, além de ser facilmente localizável em α-Câncer. METODOLOGIA: Desta forma, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica por meio de repositórios acadêmicos, seguindo os parâmetros de composição principal, quantidade de estrelas e suas características. RESULTADOS: Assim, o aglomerado M67 é do tipo Aberto, e que, mesmo assim, contém estrelas muito antigas, sendo considerado o terceiro aglomerado mais antigo (de acordo com o diagrama HR). Com relação a sua população estelar, o M67 possui 200 estrelas anãs, 11 gigantes vermelhas de classe espectral K com magnitude absoluta no intervalo de +0,5 a +1,5 e muitas estrelas localizadas no ramo horizontal além de estrelas azuis de classe espectral B8 ou B9 e de magnitude aparente 10conhecidas como Blue Stragglers -e mais 100 estrelas da sequência principal, com características semelhantes ao Sol e um percentual de 38% para sistemas binários. Ademais, possui uma metalicidade próxima a da solar, com medidas recentes de [Fe / H] apontando valores entre -0,10 e +0,05. CONCLUSÃO: Portanto, os dados apontam que, mesmo que o M67 seja um tipo Aberto, possui estrelas antigas, o que o torna um aglomerado intrigante devido a característica dos aglomerados abertos abrigarem estrelas jovens e quentes. Introdução: Fenômenos Transitórios Lunares, ou Transient Lunar Phenomena (TLPs), são fenômenos que possuem um período curto de duração, manifestando-se na maioria das vezes isoladamente como brilhos repentinos que modificam o solo da Lua em seu aspecto visual. Tais mudanças se enquadram em algumas categorias, tais como brilhantismo, obscurecimento e nuvens. Suas causas são algumas dentre muitas indagações geradas nos estudos do satélite natural da Terra. A Selenografia é a parte da Astronomia que estuda a Lua e, portanto, trata de discutir esses fenômenos, suas ocorrências e análise. O estudo dos TLPs é determinante para que se entenda que no corpo lunar também ocorrem fenômenos diversos, suas causas e a frequência de ocorrência desses eventos. Objetivo: Este trabalho objetivou apresentar uma análise acerca da ocorrência desses fenômenos, com o intuito de expor tais fenômenos. Metodologia: Para isso, realizou-se pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema TLP norteada pelas evidências desses fenômenos e suas classificações. Resultados: Boa parte dos TLPs relatados na literatura são ocasionados por impactos de meteoros na superfície lunar. Isto se deve ao fato que Lua é constantemente bombardeada por esses objetos, já que ela não possui atmosfera em quantidade suficiente para desacelerá-los. Por conta disso, os impactos são mais intensos e podem, em alguns casos, gerar brilhantismos. Conclusão: Aponta-se que fenômenos transitórios com essas características ocorrem com certa frequência. Um exemplo recente foi a queda de um meteoro no dia 23 de fevereiro de 2023 próximo da cratera Tycho durante um eclipse lunar. Este TLP foi filmado no Japão e evidencia a hipótese que brilhantismos são causados por esse tipo de impacto.
