ResumenEste artículo da cuenta de una investigación cualitativa, realizada por estudiantes tesistas de la Carrera de Pedagogía en Educación Diferencial de la Universidad Central y guiada por una docente de la carrera. El propósito del estudio fue conocer la importancia que le otorgan los docentes a la planificación, como recurso para organizar la enseñanza en función de las características de los estudiantes. En este trabajo se presentan los principales hallazgos recogidos de la visión que tienen directivos y profesores de educación básica y diferencial de tres establecimientos municipales de Santiago, quienes señalan que pese a la relevancia que se le otorga a la anticipación y preparación de la enseñanza, los factores como organización del tiempo, escaso trabajo colaborativo, planificación rígida y destinada a un inexistente grupo homogéneo, siguen constituyendo una tendencia.Palabras clave: planificación curricular -trabajo colaborativo -diseño universal para el aprendizaje -flexibilización curricular -adecuaciones curriculares -respuesta a la diversidad.
